Anyone else seen this problem?

It started with my 265 randomly locking up and requiring a restart. Then it got so bad that the maps wouldn't load at all and hung at the loading maps screen.

I reloaded the maps and it was fine for about a day, then it just stopped showing any roads, it was as if the color for the roads turned white on the white background.

I'm tyring to figure out how to export my favorites on my Nuvi 660 and how my father can export his on the Nuvi 265wt.

I've read about mapsource in some posts and checked the Garmin site. But it looks like that software only works on a PC, not on a Mac, which we both use (most of the time).

I have a quick question:
I will be traveling to Mexico soon(prices are CHEAP now)
and was thinking about buying a Mexico map for my Nuvi 260w and putting it on an SD card. I have some questions that I hope someone knows the answer to:
1) are points of interest (gas, restaurants, hospitals) included in the City Navigator Mexico maps or is it just the map only?

One of the favorites I use the most often is the the last page. It is a major pain to scrow through page after page to get to it,especially while driving. Is there a way to re-organize the favorites so that the ones I use most often is of the first page?

Finally got around to adding a SRF file viewer to the
SRF Builder as requested.

Also moved the installation from VB to InstallShield so it should work better now.

One issue I have seen, is that a couple of the Garmin SRFs came in to the viewer kinda strange..... Let me know if you see it too...

I was on a road yesterday and punched in an address that was surprisingly off the same road I was on but in the opposite direction. Rather than instructing me to turn around or make a U turn my Nuvi navigated me in the direction I was originally in on to a high way then exit taking me back on the same road. I immediatemy checked if I had U Turns checked in the avoidance menu but it wasn't.

Can someone tell me where can I preview the new 2010 NT map update?

I have the 2009 maps installed on my nuvi 650 at the present time.

If I get the 2010 maps and then install that map on the SD card (4GB) along with all my mp3s and POIs, and then select the 2010 maps for use, will the GPS performance lag being as my unit is transferring mp3s, the map data, and the pois all at the same time?

looking to buy new 2009 updates for my kenwood KNA-G510..will buy them for a resonable price...

My friend bought a new house so I took a trip from Philadelphia route 76 via King of Prussia to route 422. The problem is that the 2009 maps doesn't seem to have the recent reconstruction of the clover interchange junction of 76 to 202 leading to 422.

Does anybody know the procedure to get Garmin to update that area? Does the 2010 maps have that area remapped?

I'm a newbie here and just got a 765t. I have been reading your forums and see that most if not all of you back up you GPS unit. How do you do that? Reading all the things you guys are doing on your GPS I can't wait to try some of them.

I own a Garmin 660 GPS. It's one of those models with the flip up antenna. My father-in-law purchased a 760, which is the new form factor that has no flip up antenna. Both of us have the lifetime traffic subscription.

I need ideas on how to change the low clearance POI file to allow it to load in express with warnings. Anyone have ideas how to do this easily? TIA

Feeling very stupid. When I got my 550 about two yrs ago I was able to xfr whole albums as such to my 550 sd card. Now when I try, all I can do is move the various songs which end up in a folder entitled "unknown". Yes, I know it's pilot error, but for the life of me I can't remember how I did it the first time.

Does anyone know how large of an SD card the streetpilot c340 can handle?

How do I get icons on the screen? Before I had a magellan and it would show food icons, Atms, etc up on the screen as I would just go by them.

Hello everyone. My father is looking for an in-vehicle GPS unit. I'm thrilled with my Nuvi 660 and he is looking for something similar to what I have. However, he's been using a Magellan Sport Trek Pro and he has lots of POIs in that unit like grave sites, home sites and other things from our family tree.

today I visited the garmin site (first time in a long time) and my garmin page said there was an update available - so I pressed the link and it told me to install communicator.

After installing communicator, it returned me to the site and started downloading a firmware update (not really what I wanted to do)

can I have 3 different maps my nuvi?

say, 2009 on the nuvi, 2009.11 on the sd card, and 2010 on the sd card as well?

also, how do you see the exact version of the map? does map info say the map is 2009 or will it show that it is 2009.11? or, is there another way to check the actual version?
