Okay, can someone please explain in media player what the 2 opposite directions button mean and the other arrow that appears to be recirculate mean? THX!

well, I got my replacement 765T from Garmin, after mine died, and it came with firmware 2.50.

I would have thought that Garmin would upgrade the firmware on the refurb units before they ship them out, but I guess not.

I just downloaded a map from http://gpsmapsearch.com/ The file type is IMG after I extract it out of the ZIP file.

I'm trying to use sendmap20 that I download from http://www.cgpsmapper.com/buy.htm to "install" (not sure if that's the correct term) the new map onto my Nuvi 760 SD card without overwriting anything in my GPS internal memory. Is this possible?

Noticed this the other day driving home and I went into my favorites to check something and saw the Last Position was my home address and not the last place where I had taken the unit of the cradle.

Can anyone assist me in this endeavor?
I would like to post a POI for our Church, and do not know how to proceed; Can anyone assist in this.

I can't get my custom poi's to work on my 765t. I followed the instructions listed with the Garmin Nuvi GPS Tricks and Tips Web site and can't get them to work. The one file I downloaded was Bank of America ATM's and there is one around the corner from my house but the alert dosen't come on.

I am a real greenie. Sorry.
I have a garmin nuvi 200. I have the coordinates where I want to go. when I enter them it says there are no roads. That is true, there are no roads. They are coordinates for property markers for a new subdivision. How do I locate the cordinates? Any ideas what I need to do?

What have I missed? Which is correct?

I have a garmin 680. The bluetooth feature works well with all of my bluetooth enabled phones for speakerphone function. . . except for the iphone 3G. Microphone doesn't work. Is there a special setting I need to enable on either device?

I was wondering if anyone knows when the new maps for this year will be released?? I saw that Best Buy has the 255wt for $199 and am thinking of picking one up but would like to know when the new maps come out so i know i would still be within the 60 day free upgrade timefrime. Thanks

I see that Costco has the Garmin 885T for $299.00 after a $200 savings. I wanted to get some feedback on what everyone thinks of this model. Is it a good choice as a replacement.

My MIL is extremely directionally challenged, and not comfortable with new technology. I just got a Nuvi 205W, and think one of the Garmin's might be a good choice to get for her. I know she will call us if/when she gets lost, and will need us to walk her through configuring the unit for her.

I am trying to install a map on my garmin 780 with Mapsource software but I continue to get insufficient space errors. The nuvi has roughly 1.4gb of space available and the map I am trying to load is just over 1gb per Mapsource. I have even tried to load the map on a 8gb card and get the same error. Any help is appreciated. GD

I have a Nuvi 785T and just loaded a bunch of POI icons. They all are green. Does any one else have this issue and do you know how to fix it? I also tried loading them onto my Nuvi 660 and they are fine.

Does anyone know if there is a way to split screen the junction view so that on one side it shows the map and route you are driving and it gives you the lane assist and on the other side it shows the junction view. On the Garmin international models they are split screen on the US models they are full screen.
