Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.

What if you look there and they're not there. I check the GPS when its hooked up to the computer and the POI's are in the Garmin drive. Are they not downloaded correctly?

Did you touch custom pois last?If you are going to the Garmin folder then poi do you see the file poi.gpi?

i see the flie poi.gpi but
i see the flie poi.gpi but it says windows cannot open it because it doesn't know which program made it.

Go to http://www.poieditor.com/index.php and load the gpi file to it.If large file it may take a few minutes.You will be able to tell if that is what you loaded.You did touch custom pois last on the gps screen.Some users have known to stop when they see custom pois and not touch the screen.
Did you use this process to download your custom pois or did you use subfolders?
1.Make a folder on your computer and give it a name. Example My poi's.
2.Download the csv or gpx file and put them in that folder.
3.If you want to add a bmp . Download from site and also add to the same folder but make sure you name them the same as the file you want them to go with except the extensions.

4.Hook the gps up to computer using usb cable and then run poiloader. Select My pois folder.
5.If you want alerts use manual mode instead of express.
6.You should get message so many pois are loaded at the end of the download.
7.On GPS go to where to then extras and touch custom pois and you should see them.
8.Every time you run poiloader it will overwrite the existing files.
