Stop import prompt on startup

I figured this out once but can't seem to remember how I did it now. when ever I load new POIs to my memory card it prompts if I want to manage new data. I keep my POIs on my card so I don't want to import them, but it prompts every time I start up. is there a way to get rid of this? TIA.

It's a Zumo 550 FWIW

It's counterintuitive

Answer yes to add them to the main unit, then select don't ask again and skip.

I do not get those options

I do not get those options on my Zumo. Seems like that is how it works on my Nuvi though. oddly only one of the 5 files I have shows up in the list now. did try importing then deleting from the unit memory but it just tries to import it again.

.

There's no option like that on the Zumo.

It's best just put the Custom POIs on the unit itself and forget about them. Otherwise, you will always get that prompt and there's no way around it.

Thanks MM. learned something new about Zumos.

Actually... I found a way

I found a way around it. if You create a small one point POI then import it it will stop bugging you about the rest. I knew I did it before but couldn't remember.
