does anyone have a poi file for Microtel's

I have made a route in MapSource and I have several Via Points that are made when I drag and drop my route. When this route is loaded into my 760 and I approach one of these via points it will announce arriving at 288 Scotts Ridge Rd on right for example. My question is how do I edit the voice file of this via point and change the text spoken by the unit.

This problem just started. When going North on I-495 in Delaware the green bar at the top tells me I'm going North on I-95 and that the posted speed limit in the lower left corner says 55, the map is clearly showing me I'm on 495 and the Interstate signs on the map say 495.

When I went to reset my trip information, I noticed that the max speed reads 153. I asked my wife what she knew about it and she swears she did not drive 153. No, we don't have any kids who could have taken the car out with us unawares.

If you are in a route and your vehicle comes accross one of the custom POI's (lets say walmart) will the walmart store pop up with out you having to do anything.

I received from Microsoft the Release to Manufacturing final completed version of Windows 7 Enterprise 32 bit Edition and installed it 2 days ago.

After testing it extensively I have found that all the Garmin Software and the Garmin Communicator plug in work perfectly. This includes the Mapsource software and the map installation software.

Is there a way to have screen shot enabled when I turn on my 765T, instead of going through the menus? When I power down the GPS it turns the screen shot option to disabled, I would like it to be on when I turn the GPS on. Thank you.

I'm a new owner of a Garmin 265WT, and I have acouple of questions.

I downloaded a route from Mapquest into the unit, but have no way to access it because the 265WT doesn't save(?) routes. I've looked in the files on the unit and it is there. So how do I get to it?

What exactly is the SD card for? Can I save routes to it and import them into my unit?

Hello...I have saved the POI files in a folder and loaded them onto my Garmin 7200 via the POI Loader from Garmin, but none of them show when I open the Custom POI section; nothing is listed...it only gives me the option to Delete All. It does show "Transfering Data" on the screen of the GPS, though. Nothing comes up on the screen when I am on the road, either.

Changes made from version 2.70 to 3.00:

* Correct issue installing Map Updates on a Mac.
* Correct issue maintaining more than 128 waypoints. Warning - this software update may require favorites to be reloaded.
* Correct issue with deleting 2-5 letter POIs.
* Correct issue with MSN receiver software failing to download.
* Correct backlight settings handling.

I have just started to notice a minor glitch with my nuvi 660. When approaching an address, the GPS usually announces "Approaching 123 4th Avenue, on left (or right)". But now it seems that more frequently the announcement omits which side of the street the address is on.

Any ideas why this might occur?

I was playing around with the POI Loader version 2.5.3. I use the manual load mode and select Mapsource as the destination to see what it does. I selected my POI files and and it seem to loaded ok without any errors.

My question here is where does those POIs goes when you choose Mapsource ? How do I look at those POIs or check on it ?

I've got a question about the redlight camera csv POI file I downloaded from here. Does each individual POI name within that csv file has something meaningful such as does it set the proximity alert speed ?

For example here are some POI names within that file:

Red Light Camera .01vxt
Red Light Camera .01vys
Red Light Camera .022x8

Hi, apart from the hellos and being brand spankin new, i was wondering if i could get alittle help with my GPS. Got a Garmin Nuvi 760 and i keep trying to get the ecoroute software installed but it fails to appear on the webupdater.

Any reason as to why and can anyone help me get this useful tuel into my already useful tool

When doing a hard reset and letting the unit get the satellites, should this be done on a cloud free day or does it matter. I was reading some of the posts and it was stated to do this in an open area.

Background: I have both a 350 and 765T. I had purchased the lifetime maps for the 350.

I was reading some of the FAQ's on Garmins site for Mapsource. If I am reading right, I cannot do a route in Mapsource and send it to my 765T. Is this correct?

It has been a few weeks since I received began using my 265wt and I am not sure if the traffic is working at all. I would like to hear comments on my experience and hear your experiences as well.
