v7.29.0.0 changelog (Windows)

Fixed an incorrect translation for Settings in Traditional Chinese.
Resolved an issue with not being able to retrieve purchased content.
Resolved an issue with the Queue Pod not displaying updates.
Other minor bug fixes and improvements.

Fixed an incorrect translation for Settings in Traditional Chinese.
Added additional logging for the Universal Map Install to Computer operation cancelling without error.
Fixed an issue with text overlapping on the CIQ window.
Fixed an issue with Glances and Activities lists/favorites being reset.
Fixed an issue with the Manage Maps not potentially appearing on the Queue Pod.
Fixed an issue with not being able to update Express in the About menu.
Other minor bug fixes and improvements.

Odd

This is odd. I tried to update my GE 7.28.1 +c9dc78cb yesterday and again this morning. I see no pop-up offering 7.29.0.0 and a manual check for updates says my current version is up to date.

No problems with Win 10 Pro. I do opt to run GE as administrator since occasionally there is a install glitch.

I ran in to exactly the same issue. And it eventually installed when I manually checked for the update in Garmin Express. Even the installer I downloaded and "updated" with showed the same older version.

Another Garmin fart.

My GE is 7.28 and searching

My GE is 7.28 and searching for updates says I am up to date. But the web page says it is 7.29 so i dnld it from web and it is updating to 7.29. Now it is up to date for real. Strange.
