Does anyone know what is the most current firmware for the Nuvi 680 and also the gtm-20 ?

well all i am off to the great north west, cant wait to do some hiking and backpacking with the family, and the sights, smells, and food!!

Has anyone else had an issue with using the internal POI phone numbers in North America?

On my 770, it seems to try dialing a plus sign (+) at the beginning of the phone number for internal POIs. The call won't go through because of it.

My personal phone book entries from my cell phone work fine because they do not have the + stored in front of them.

My Nuvi 200 has 2.20. My 205 came with 2.20 as well, but after installing "American English" voice through WebUpdater, it rolled back to 2.00

2.20 is smaller in size (1.06MB) compared to 2.00(1.16MB).

What are the differences and why did WebUpdater roll it back from what was already installed on the unit by default?

Transferring driving directions to Garmin GPS 760 from Google Maps, It seems like Garmin is adding the United States to the address. This is preventing the Phone Number from appearing in the Favorites listing. Max 3 lines for address and phone number. That pushes the Zip code to the third line leaving no room for Phone Number.
How do I remove the United States so the phone number appears?

Several months ago I purchased the lifetime subscription to the NavTeq traffic service, but my 660 seems to get terrible reception in Northern VA. Has anyone else had any luck with this service?

I just picked up an old-school Garmin StreetPilot ColorMap. Is there anyone who is very familiar with this product, or still using one in their vehicle?

I have some questions with regards to loading POI's and such, and have been unable to find answers online, so far.

I have volume set wide open and can hardly hear turns and streets call out. Granted my hearing is not 100 per cent however my old garmin streetpilot was plenty loud. Is there a sound bite or some way to increase the volume.

When I reset the unit, sometimes the unit resets itself to 80% volume and the mute enabled. In this condition, the audio version loads as "missing".

I re-loaded the SW 5.10 as well as "American English" that was available through webupdater, but it acutally rolled back audio version from 2.20 to 2.00

Does anyone know if the Sapp Bros. Truckstop download work? Because i see the description says that it may not be accurate, and I would like to know if it's worth uploading.

May have found a problem with transferring favorites from gps to Mapsource if you have categories for favorites.I have the latest update but get error message to send report to Garmin when I try the transfer.Went to EasyGps and it would not transfer either.Not sure if it is the program update or the categories for favorites causing the problem.

Recently, I started having problems with my Garmin WebUpdater finding my device. The WebUpdater shows my F drive where I am plug into but does not find my Garmin unit number. I deleted the software and reinstalled it again. Same problem.

Windows Vista is my operating system. Any thoughts?

If anyone has this head unit, are you experiencing a problem with the Garmin software where the following message often occurs:

"GPS Firmware Updating"

and

"GPS Firmware Complete"

These messages appear randomly and often.

Is MSN Direct Traffic on the 885T FREE LIFETIME like the other traffic that I have on my 660.

How often does garmin update this? i assume it needs to be updated to be the same(match) as the GPS updates?

i mean so sence i updated my 350 to 2010.10 is MS @ 2010.10 also? and so on..

my ms ver is 6.15.6

Is the XM service the only traffic I can get for my 2730 or will one of the other recievers work?

I donwload walmart locaticons into my computer and named it walmart then downloaded it into my Garmin using POI loader.

Then in my Garmin - selecting - Whereto? / Extras / Custom POIs - the list of walmarts do show up. Then I donwload rest areas and following the same procedures as above I find the Walmarts now don't show up in the Custom POIs but the rest areas do.

I am a newbie here. Got a new nuvi 360 about 8 months ago and updated map at that time. The first time that I noticed this problem was about 7 months ago, when driving from RTP to Fayetteville, NC, google map showed about 80 miles, but the nuvi 360 only had less than 50 miles and within one hr travel time.

I have a Nuvi 350 that can no longer find satellites. It stopped about 10 days ago while I was travelling in Quebec city, then picked satellites a few days later and since then, nothing.

I have tried to leave outside fo a while so it can acquire proper signal and nothing. I have updated the software to version 6.0 and retried leaving it stationary but no luck.
