The flys drove me crazy

I was stationed at Fort Lewis in the mid 60's and I found it was cold and rainy in the winter and then went straight to very hot and dry. Just never was in the middle range. Had a nice view of Mt Rainier from my barracks though.

I didn't find that the hiking and camping that I did when I was stationed there was that enjoyable. Not much of a vacation going through AIT. laugh out loud

The Columbia Gorge is a great place to go for hiking and waterfalls. It is well worth going to. Multnomah Falls is right there. Quite spectacular!

WOW

That's my kind of road trip. Wished I was in the luggage.

Did a long road trip several years ago. Went to Rocky Mt nat park, mt rushmore, grand tetons, yellowstone, salt lake city, bryce canyon, natural bridges, valley of the gods, monument valley, 4 corners, mesa verde and did cinnamon pass between animas forks and lake city. loved it.

have fun and be safe.

.

WILL DO smile

I was there in the early 70's. They told us the four seasons were Winter, June, July, August.

My vacation just got extended

Was going on a motorcycle trip to Michigan, but it's turning into a great adventure. On day 16 and planning at least 5 more day....or more...smile Putting the Campground POI to use and hope to make some updates.
