volum too low on Garmin 880

I have volume set wide open and can hardly hear turns and streets call out. Granted my hearing is not 100 per cent however my old garmin streetpilot was plenty loud. Is there a sound bite or some way to increase the volume.

Thanks --very interesting program and I enjoyed playing with it however could not figure out just how to increase volume.

The volume/voice rates

The voice level (volume) and the voice rate (speed of speech) levels are on the upper right corner of window. Sorry I do not have the program loaded at work.

Copy/paste the TTS file from

First, backup your Nuvi.

Copy/paste the TTS file from Nuvi to your computer
Open it then adjust volume slider to the right
Save the TTS file (File - Save)
Copy/paste the TTS file back to your Nuvi device

Yes I finally saw that and put it on 99 but could tell
no difference. I also went on the hex editor and it was set at 99 in there. Thanks for your help and response for I did not see the volume slider at first even though it did not raise the volume.
