Hi,

I have a Nuvi 750. Garmin does not provide Mapsource free to it's customers.

Are there any available FREE map programs that will
accomplish the same tasks as Mapsource?????

I know that's a silly question....

I had problem with Nuvi 750 not displaying album art on MP3 player. I solved it by using WMP to obtain album art and then copying album art and pasting it on each album. For unknown reason Nuvi did not recognize album art that automatically displayed when CD was ripped. Kind of a pain , but works.

Is POI information stored on my SD Card. Can I add more memory by increasing the size of my SD Card?

This is all new to me. Any and all help will be appreciated.

Am wanting to leave my 760 Behind, but can get the information on one thing about the new models...will they indeed have an AuX out, so I can run it through my car stero...FM transmitter isn't important if I have the Jack..and will these new models have a music player on it like the 760 does...I am assuming that this features will follow through with these new models, but don't want to take the pl

Greets... I would like to know if anyone has got the Garmin 255wt to support GPX files downloaded from this site. I was told that it did not support multiple destination routing because I tried to download a map from mapquest and save as a GPX which worked and showed up in my GPX folder but my garmin 255wt would not run it. So if I download a gpx as a poi how can I access it and use it??

I was thinking about picking up the nuMaps lifetime update, then I noticed that there is a new place for a discount code.

Before I ask, Miss POI, is it OK for me to ask if anyone has any knowledge of these codes?

There is an update from Version 5 to 5.1 on the Garmin site.

Does anyone know if this unit will play WAV files? (And yes I have SOX as my current unit is a 200.)

I stopped in the Garmin store in Chicago and they told me that "installing any non-Garmin software could void your warranty." When I questioned the sales drone if this included custom POI, he backtracked and stated he wasn't sure.

Can someone educate me on the naming convention for the enforcement-camera files? What does "1wn-enforcement-camera" mean? It is a smaller file then "2ar-enforcement-camera"

Is it possible to use the traffic power cord from the Nuvi 255WT on the Nuvi 750?

Do any Nuvi 855 or 885 (or 850/880) owners have specific experience with an A/C wall charger?

Can the Nuvi 855 be operated (from the Main Menu and on the “Map Screen”) while connected to an A/C wall charger?

Will the 855 recharge noticeably faster on A/C power than computer USB?

Anyone out there own a Garmin Edge 605/705 for their other ride?

I would like to know if anyone uses or has used MapSource and any of the CNNA NT maps on their Edge product?
