Garmin talk

As the title says. I'm having a heck of a time with getting the nuvi to accept incomming calls. If I use the cell phone to accept the calls the audio is fine on the nuvi. The problem is that I do get the incomming call prompt onscreen but when I push the button it will not accept the call. Any suggestions?

Downloading from POI Factory and saving them to a folder and when i use Garmin loader, I cant fine file to install?? The files are saved in microsoft csv format and can open with microsoft excell only??
What am i doing wrong that i cant find file to install in my own directory

Is it possible on any of the Garmins to default the State and the city at the same time?

costco has this on sale for 229.00 with a 20.00 discount, I presently have a streetpilot c580, but the free year of traffic information has expired. I really like the streetpilot, but hate to spend another 129.00 for a years traffic. does anyone know how the 265wt is and how does the traffic input coneect to the unit. my streetpilot does with the cord for the lighter.

I'm planning a trip to Sedona, Jerome, Prescott and Wickenburg the middle of July. I just discovered that you can load any waypoints from Google Maps into my Nuvi350 and then you can upload those waypoints onto Google Earth. What a time saver and easy way to map out the trip.
I also use MapSource to map out the waypoints by transferring them from my Nuvi 350 onto MapSource

I just bought a Nuvi 765T. This is my first GPS. I would like the unit to be able to let me know when a red light camera is coming up. I bought the unit on 6-18-09. The maps are updated as of 6-19-09. I installed the Garmin POI loader app (PC). After maps were updated I installed Speed-Cameras.csv (June 17) and Redlight-Cameras.csv (June 17).

We are looking for navigable maps of Cyprus for my Garmin nuvi 760.

Does anyone know where I can located a set?

Most TTS voice has update version available this week. Have you seen any improvement?

As for the MAP, some has report that version 2010.2 is available, but I'Ve never found it for my 755t unit?

I'm sure I'm just a newbie at this, but after moving over 70 files to the unit, I cannot figure out why the custom POIs are not showing.

I appreciate any help anyone can offer.

I have a nuvi 855. I have found the male voice to be slightly louder and clearer to understand. I tried both the default female voice as well as the male voice, both turned all the way up and like the male voice better.
Don't know if your menu is the same or not, but this is how to do it on a nuvi 855. Main menu, tools, settings, language, (touch) VOICE PERSONALITY and pick "Jack".

New user, not sure if this has been discussed here on this site.

Is it possible to make your own TTS voice library? Has anyone done this besides Garmin?

Is it possible to charge my c 530 thru the usb mini port still navagate while charging?

I have a Nuvi 750. The color of the drop down signs notifies me of my poi's is gray.

Often wind noise etc may make it difficult to hear the sound signal. It would be better if the drop down sign could be a brighter color (red,orange etc.)that would be noticed more easily as you drive.

Anyone know how to change the color on the Nuvi 750???

Hi, I want to apologize in advance if this is a really stupid question.
I have looked at all the POIs and think they are great, and have downloaded a lot of them.
But I was wondering if there was just a way to download an entire yellow pages of information onto your system for maybe one or two cities.

How do I install the files for red light camera's and speed cameras I feel real stupid.

As has been the case for quite a long time (beginning with the 7x0 series), there has been a bug where WebUpdater constantly displays voices that have already been updated. I did some experimenting and found that this bug *seems* to be triggered when the nuvi is plugged into the USB port while powered off (previously my normal procedure), then running WebUpdater.
