I want to know if it is possible to pair two devices to the 4250, cell phone and BT headset. So I can see the call come in on the 4250 and then transfer it to the headset. Anybody try this? It sees the headset but I'm not sure how this duel pairing thing works. thanks

Are any of you who use the Magellan POI editor experiencing this problem. After editing a POI or converting one from a csv file, the program will not close. To resolve I have to ctl alt delete and close the program with Windows Task Manager.

Is it possible to somehow hook my 3200 to my mac so I can load POIs onto the 3200?

Does anyone know how to add icons to be display in the POI file editor under "image" ?

Here's a silly question from a GPS newbie; I received a Maestro 3225 for my birthday (a great 30th b-day gift) and I'm having a blast with it. I'm planning a trip with another friend who also has a Maestro, and i was wondering if i can extract and then email the trip file so said friend can load to his GPS?

Is this doable or am i in newbie never-neverland?

My 3225 only seems to correctly work with the Magellan-supplied USB cable. Does anybody know exactly why this is? (maybe the problem is between my two ears...)

When I use a standard USB cable, the 3225 reboots over and over again. When I use the Magellan-supplied cable, the connection works as it is supposed to work.

I recently got a Magellan Crossover for Christmas and I love it. The only hangup so far is figuring out how to convert CSV formats into acceptible forms. I know that it requires some editing in Excel, but the exact how-to on the editing eludes me. The POI converter only tells me that the fields should include titles for Latitude, Longitude, and Name. I have no idea how to insert that.

I have a Magellan 4040. On the screen display it has an arrow icon which indicates my current location. Recently i've seen on a different GPS (I think a Garmin) the icon for the GPS's location was not an arrow. This GPS had a little car icon to indicate the GPS's location. Are there any sittings or anything I can download to change my arrow icon on my GPS to something else?

Is there any way of adding icons such as the McDonalds golden arches to the enhanced POI files from Magellan's software or any by any outside software? Also, what about adding new beeps or alarm sounds?

I need some help here please. After loading the POI into my 3225, it won't show the complete address and the phone number. My .csv file is listing as long, lat, name, description. Does anyone know how? Thanks

I recently tried to help out a less than tech savy freind with his maestro 3100. It locks up on the boot up screen and won't progress any further. I called magellan tech support and spoke to "walter". This guy was useless, after an hour of answering the same questions over and over, he decided that I needed to send the unit in for repair.

I received a Magellan 3225 as a gift. I tried calculating a route, and as soon as you push the "calculate route" button, the unit freezes up. The only way to unfreeze it is to turn it off. The warning screen also freezes up quite often, which requires pushing the reset button. Does anyone have a similar problem? This POJ is about to go back to the store.

Just got the magellan 4040 for Christmas. Trying to upload a POI onto it using the supplied USB cable. I plugged it in, computer recognizes the magellan but I have no software or interface to upload. Is there some kind of user interface that should pop up?

I just got my Magellan 3225 for Christmas present. I loved it, everything works as expected and it is very simple to use, except that the speaker volume is too low - even setting at max vol -. Does anyone know how to make it louder. Thanks.

Can someone either give me a quick walkthrough or point me to a forum link on how to add multiple categories with the Magellan POI editor. My problem is that every time I try to open a .csv file with the editor it clears the previous list. I can add new categories, but i would have to enter it in manually for each point. Any help would be useful. Thanks.

I just received a Maestro 3200 for Christmas. Does anyone know if it is possible to update this to the 6 million POI file? I can't seem to find any information on it. Where do I get the file? I am also using a Mac and I can not seem to find a program to manage my POI's. Any help?

Hello, can anyone offer suggestions on how to get my Maestro 4250 to acquire satellites. Under User Options -> GPS Options the GPS Status page is entirely blank. When I select the GPS signal icon on the map page it displays 'Finding Satellites Tracking 0' and has stayed that way for the entire time the unit has been powered on.

As well New to the Magellan Maestro 3225, that I got as a gift, from my parents, How do I Update the Maestro 3225? where would I go (Website) Am I able to update maps? Change voices? An also, I see an option on my GPS for My POI file, what is that? How do I upload File On mine? Please Help im a newbee, Thanks.

We have just purchased a New 3200 for our Daughter and we are trying to load a POI. I get the POI file onto the GPS via USB. But when it tries to open the file it says error opening file. Any ideas ???

Still haven't tried a custom POI file but other questions came up..........
