Maestro 3200 and my mac

Is it possible to somehow hook my 3200 to my mac so I can load POIs onto the 3200? I hooked the USB cable up and the 3200 recognizes that it's hooked up to a computer, but my mac doesn't recognize that there's something hooked up to it. I'm new to the whole GPS thing and I know that Magellan doesn't have any Mac support, so I was just wondering if anyone had some kind of hack or method of loading POI's onto their Magellan from a Mac.

Thanks

Have read of this problem on

Have read of this problem on other GPS BB, but nobody has found a solution. Even if you did, how would you create a custom POI file without running the Windows application that Magellan provides?

I was thinking using Google

I was thinking using Google Earth saving this a CSV then using WINE to port the application or something...
