Can someone confirm that I am stuck with the Icons and Alerts already in my 2200T and can not upload new ones to it? I saw the exchange that some other Magellan models can not but the 2200T does have an MP3 player and a picture viewer.

Is there any was possible that maps of canada can be loaded on the magellan maestro 3100?

I am trying to convert the complete walmart csv file posted here by sy2. I am using the Magellan poi file editor to convert the csv to .mgln. This file has 3100+ locations and seems to convert, display in the editor and save fine. However when I open the saved file there are only about 5 location there. The file size is very small so I know the entire file was not saved.

I saw on the Maggellan website that they will post new map update in August. Since this will be my first map update, do they charge you for it or is free to download?

How can I import icons I've saved , into my icon selection list in my Magellan 3oooT ;or is there another way to do it ?

Is it possible to update the POI database on this unit? If so, how? I've looked everywhere for a download from Magellan for software to no avai. The receiver came with a USB cable and a CD that is literally useless. What would the USB cable be for other than updates? Can anyone help me with this?

I am guessing this can't be done since there is nothing in the manual, but my touchscreen on my Magellan Roadmate 760 does not respond to touches to the upper right corner. Does anyone know if the screen can be recalibrated?

Does anybody have information on the Magellan Roadmate 2000. Target has them on sale for under $200 and was thinking about using it as a gift. I have no experience with Magellan though.

I am new at custom POI files on my Magellan, and would like some help. I have the software to convert the CSV files for it, but is there any kind of limit on how many POI files I can install on it? I have 5 I downloaded frmom this site, and was wondering if I need them all in one file, or can I install 5 seperate files?

I have roadmate 760. after downloading different poi files do I then import them all into my roadmate. If so how do I use them on 760 roadmate .. thanks

I recently purchased a 2200T and have found that the maps are out of date. I noticed that roads that are newer then 2 years are not on the map. Is there a place I can get up-to-date maps?

What format is the Magellan software?

Are there sources for Magellan software other than retail?

What do I need to do to get my Magellan Meridian Gold to work with various software maps on my laptop?

I have just bought a Magellan RoadMate 300R from Tucson, AZ. When I enter directions to an address in Phoenix, AZ., it provides me incorrect directions to the freeway. I am 20 miles on a direct routed to the freeway, but instead it informs me to take side streets.

Also, if you want to save your own directions to a certin location, can you?

Any suggestions to correct this problem.

A couple years ago I recieved an explorist 200 and I would like to use it for geocaching. I have used this gps very little and would like to know if this gps is good for this and if so how do I go about using it.

The included window mount works great in the car, but on the motorcycle I need something stronger. I ordered "Ram" brand mounts which are pretty good but I need the final piece, that interfaces with the actual unit. The included mount uses plastic and I would prefer something stronger because of the rougher ride to make sur eit doesn't fall off.

My Dad received this unit with the travel pack that includes the MapSend DirectRoute software - I cannot load it on either of my PCs running Windows XP - has anyone else had a problem with this?
