USB cable differences for Magellan Maestro 3225 (and maybe other models)

My 3225 only seems to correctly work with the Magellan-supplied USB cable. Does anybody know exactly why this is? (maybe the problem is between my two ears...)

When I use a standard USB cable, the 3225 reboots over and over again. When I use the Magellan-supplied cable, the connection works as it is supposed to work.

Hmmm....Could it be just that one USB cable...I tried with another and it works.....Also my phone charger plug (Which has the same USB plug) works....

No problem either

I also have no problem with Non-Magellan USB cables. Maybe you have a bad one.
