Find Parking
At the end of most routes my DS65 gives me an option to find parking. Is there anyway to turn this off, I do not need a third of my screen filled with a request to find parking.

Do Older Garmins Take Longer To Update?
I am updating my Garmins tonight from 2022.10 to 2022.20.
It seems like it takes longer to update the older Garmins than it does the newer Garmin.
Has anybody else every noticed this or do I just happen to have some sort of odd situation causing them to take longer to update?
My oldest/slowest are Garmin Nuvi 350/360.
One of my newest is a Garmin DriveSmart 65 with Amazon Alexa.

Nuvi 8xx series - no more full NA map, no more cloning?
EDIT 6/26/2021: This issue has been resolved. Please read the later posts.
I posted this in the Cloning FAQ discussion thread, but thought I would start a separate thread since most members don't need or try cloning. Does this spell the end of the useful life of the nuvi 8xx series?

2022 Map Update: Locked
So I just updated my Nuvi 2598, as I've done before many times without a hitch. Today, the Garmin Express installer finished, saying I'm Up to Date, but it also said an error occurred while installing. I had installed the map on both the computer and the 2598, so I opened Basecamp. It had a message stating that 2022.2 needed to be unlocked. Hmm...that's new.

Narvick 's themes no longer available
Seems the theme files Narvick posted (http://www.poi-factory.com/node/51064?page=1) are no longer available, anyone know if they are available someplace else? Or, could someone who managed a download put them where those that missed out could get a copy?

Garmin Express 7.60
The new update 2022.20 when I go to install it Garmin Express turns Red and says Problem installing update did anybody else have this problem

Large JCV File Download Link for 2022.20 Map
Unlike the last Large JCV File update that included four JCV files of varying size, the newest Garmin 2022.20 JCV update has been reduced to two files, D3060360A.jcv (850,465KB) and D1279440A.jcv (820,976 KB). The total JCV file size was reduced from 2.54GB on the last update to 1.59 GB on the current update.

Garmin DriveSmart 50 SD card
Today GarminExpress v.7.5.0.0 in my DriveSmart 50 is asking for a SD card to install Map 2022.20
No matter what I do the Micro SD card is not recognized by GE.
I format a 4 GB card to FAT, NO GO.
Format it to FAT 32 , NO GO.
Tried a brand new 16GB SD card. NO GO.
Garmin Express either tells me it is an incompatible card in FAT or that the card cannot be found in FAT 32.

Garmin Dash Cam Red Light & Speed - Subscription Only
So I obviously have a Nuvi and a Drivesmart and download the Red Light and Speed Camera info from POI Factory but I was considering one of the Garmin Dash cams yet it doesn't look like it would accept POI Loader like the navigators do. The ad for the cams shows that it's a subscription service only.

short freeze ups Garmin DriveSmart 61
I have a Garmin DriveSmart 61. On this GPS when you are using the touchscreen what you touch is highlighted in orange for a couple seconds (see the photos at the links below) then it completes the task.
When I touch a command now it tends to freeze, what used to be a couple seconds can be a minute or more now. It used to be once in a while, but now it's more frequent.

Traffic no longer works on Nuvi 2689
All of a sudden I notice I am no longer getting traffic on my 2689. When I plug my older 2597 spare into the same traffic cable, traffic is available. I forget the cable # but it is the extra one purchased specifically for traffic, and it was working just fine.
From a traffic inquiry I get a message to the effect: The traffic cable is not compatible........

ATV Custom Vehicle Icon
It has been quite some time since there has been discussion of custom vehicle icons on here. Now that I just set up my Garmin Zumo XT on my ATV, I am interested in getting an ATV icon. Does anybody know where I should check for an ATV icon? Many of the URLs from some years back are no longer active.
Nuvi 2595LMT Formatted Internal Storage
Hello. Good Morning.
I accidentally formatted the internal storage of my Nuvi 2505 and now it is not recognizable in my MAC or in my Windows 10 PC.
Is there anything I can do do or it it trash?
Gamin does no longer support the device and said there were nothing I can do.
They offered me 15% discount on a new unit
Can someone help me?
