CN EU 2021.30 NTU was released a few days ago, Garmin have skipped CN EU 2021.20 NTU for reasons unknown.

For those of us who have a subscription to Garmin's Europe maps, Europe-EUNT 2021.20 has been released.

Sox.exe, as an installable program, is at ver 14.4.2. Sox.exe for POILoader is at ver 14.0.1
Is there a need to update?
How would one update with the installable version?
Would it be just a matter of installing it, then taking the SOX.EXE and copying to the POILoader install folder or is there something special about ver. 14.0.1?

CDC says many Americans can now go outside without a mask.

For the entirety of the pandemic I have not worn a mask outdoors. Every day I take a two-mile walk in my neighborhood for exercise and I have never worn a mask. Sometimes I meet or overtake another walker or runner and I seek to maintain a six-foot or more distance.

I just saw that Off Road Mapping is now selling Garmin GPSs with their preloaded VV Mapping already installed.

Can anybody here tell which 5" and 6" Garmins they are selling?

I think there is a bug in software version 7.80 on all nüvi 2x5 series and later model nüvi 2x0 series devices. The nüvi models affected will add to the turn distance randomly while just simply driving. For example, all my 2x5 devices and my 200W and 260W. I turn on the road. The distance to my next turn is 1.4 miles.

I recently created a POI file that has multiple duplicates in column C and differing info in column D. I have a Garmin 2370 and a Garmin Drive Assist 51 each with micro cards for storing the Extra POI files. When I try to search the data with the Garmin 2370, every entry is displayed; however, the Drive Assist 51 seems to display only the first duplicate it encounters.

I BOUGHT A 32 BIT MICRO DISK FOR MY 55 GARMIN NAV AND JUST INSTALLED IT IN THE BACK OF MY GARMIN,THEN I NOTICED ON THE FORUM THAT IT SAID I HAVE TO FORMAT IT BEFORE I INSTALLED IT.IS THIS TRUE AND IF SO HOW DO I GO ABOUT FORMATTING IT ON A WINDOW 10 COMPUTER OR CAN I GO ABOUT DOING IT RIGHT ON MY GARMIN (OR DOES THE GARMIN DO IT AUTOMATICALLY)

Hi all, I have a nüvi 2757 LM with a speaker that I believe is dead. It was working an hour ago, now it isn't. It just sorta went kaput.

My Garmin needs charging periodically, and with minimal driving it seldom goes in the car. I used to charge it with the cable that came with it. The same cable that I use to update, which is not a problem. I've seem a message that says something to the effect that it can't charge unless I use an original cable, but this one is original.

I recently updated my Garmin and had to reduce what was loaded because of space requirements. So I ordered a microsd card (San Disk 128gb). It came to day and I slipped it in the only slot, which is on the bottom edge. Plugged it into my computer and no disk! What do I need to do for it to see the disk? I saw nothing in Settings on the Garmin.

Hyper precise location has been announced at 100 cities with Verizon. This gives accuracy up to 1-2 cm for 4G and 5G customers. Do you believe Garmin will add this feature? If not , do you believe it could add the option to utilize it through the cell phone like they do with the current app?

If I am using smartlink traffic and I lose data while driving does it fallback to the FM traffic network?

So I am trying to update my old 3490LMT to give to a friend since I just got the Drivesmart 55. This is the first time Garmin Express said there is not enough internal memory for 2022.10. If I add a microSD card and do the update, is the entire map sent to the microSD card or is it a spill over when the internal gets filled up?

My Nuvi 2689 just died.

Where can I get it fixed.

It will not turn on.(dead battery ?)
It could be a loose connection in the power cord slot inside the unit so the battery would not charge. (Same problem in my nuvi 2595)

It's been awhile and in addition to acquiring the 66st I got a Drivesmart 55. I want to test it out with my HD60 cable from my old 3490 vs the cable that came with it. Does anyone recall how to get to the correct system page to show the traffic receiver status? I'm sure I can find it but thought to ask here first.

I need some help here folks. I'm not the biggest computer tech head. I recently acquired a newer Garmin Nuvi from a friend who doesn't want his anymore as he uses only his smart phone now. I've uploaded all my custom POI's from this site and the Red Light Camera file without any issues.

I have a Nuvi 205 that was originally a 49 states model. I bought the lifetime maps deal many years ago that included the North America maps. It has been running fine ever since.

Recently did the 2022.1 map update but the Sandisk 8gb SD card went bad after that. I have a new 8gb card installed.

It's been a long time since I posted here but here goes. I got back into GPSs as my son is geocaching as a boy scout. I just ordered him an eTrex Touch 35 for $159 (no Topo just the base map but I'll download free topo maps). Hopefully it was good buy for him.
