Map Version 2022.25 is now available

I just found out too and was about to post. I wonder why 2022.25 instead of 2022.30?

I'm wondering if the 2022.25 update is just an interim patch that addresses the GPS "week 0" rollover that occurred just 2-3 days ago. Perhaps this update is just a temporary placeholder until the 2022.30 update is released.

Foursquare and Parkopedia still at 2022.20.

I uncheck them anyway.

I seriously doubt if this map update is GPS related. That problem would be firmware I think.

I just updated both my Garmin Nuvi 755T and Garmin Nuvi 3790. I checked both after the update and I found the same issue with both. The newly downloaded maps, gmappsupp.img in both correctly reads ver. 2022.25 in the "Info" section while the 3D maps, gmap3d.img, both read ver. 2022.20. One would think the primary map and the 3D map should be of the same map iteration. This looks to be quite odd and it makes me wonder if this could cause a problem.

Any thoughts?

No problems at all.

I installed the 2022.25 map on a 1390T, 2495LMT and DS 55. Had a slight issue on the 1390T. When it booted up and while sitting on my kitchen, the GPS showed my home location on the map where it's supposed to be but the little car icon was sitting about 3kms away. Restarted the GPS 3x and same thing happened. Did a hard reset and then it showed the car at my home address. Strange, first time it's ever done it.

The DS 55 map info shows both 2022.20 and 2022.25.

Daughter has the 2495LMT and can't check it right now.

They wanted to compete with Windows 11?

They had to release something?

Time to update maps for Thanksgiving travel.

Garmin map version 2022.25 is from two updates ago and was released last Fall on Oct 26, 2021.
