Garmin talk

Just picked up an 8GB A-Data SDHC card. Works perfectly in my Nuvi 650

strange result . i can log onto my garmin with username an password but when i click on contact support and you have to resign in ,it doesnt recognize me using same login id and password.they sent me a copy of city navigator north america nt but i have the nt 2008 .(latest one?) on my nuvi 650

Just took a long trip with my new nuvi 350. Two things I would love to see added: some kind of pause button when using a route. If I stop for gas or food or bathroom this thing will U-turn me to death. I know I turned off the route just let me get some gas... sounds like a back seat driver. The other would be gas mileage checker.

I am trying to add a custom poi file to my c330 and for some reason, the software won't take the .csv file. I downloaded it from here and I have checked to make sure that the gps has the latest firmware or whatever. Is there something I am doing wrong here?

I use Gil for my voice guidance. Has anyone noticed any kind of change in the way some names are pronounced? If not, it must be that
I didn't notice it before.

Please anyone, can you tell me how many FAVORITES my Garmin C-330 will hold ? How about CUSTOM POIs ?

Whenever I add a telephone number to a favorite, the "dash" - is not a choice, all I have is the # and the * where is it? Any help from you all would be greatly appreciated.

I was wondering if you can relocate the vehicle directory to your SD card and if so, is the path SD/garmin/vehicle or SD/vehicle?

Any help appreciated, I am not excited about mucking about in the garmin directory since I don't know what I am doing so if you have experience in this matter it would be appreciated.

I bought a Nuvi and gave my old C340 to my son for Christmas. Does anyone know how I can transfer the device registration with Garmin to him?

Is there a way to have the Nuvi 200 turn off after a certain amount of idle time. I have to manually turn it off everytime I get out of the car or it will stay on forever?

is there anyone here that knows if you can and how to create a custom avoidance . I am a truck driver and went and got a garmin nuvi 350 and am finding all kinds of poi files on where low bridges are and it will aleart me when one is comming up ......

After loading the 5.20 update, the currency converter does not work correctly.

Has anyone done this? I've created routes with newly acquired Mapsource v 6.13.6 and named the route and tried to transfer the route to my Nuvi 760. The status window said the tansfer was successful but when looking on the Nuvi I do not see the route created via MapSource. I only see routes I created on the Nuvi.

I did choose "Send to Device" and made sure Routes was selected.

I d/l the Illinois state parks.csv and tried to load it in my 660. But it failed. I opened it up and found a different layout than I use for my 660. I looked at the author and noticed he has a Magellan and I figured that they must use a different format. I tried POI Verifier, but that was a no-go. And idea's on a quick way?

has anyone updated to those versions? If so, any problems?
