Garmin talk

I want to pair my Nuvi 760 GPS unit with my Blueant Interphone headset but I'm lacking the directions I need. Pairing with a cell phone is not the issue.
Can anyone give me advice/information/instructions on how to do this? Many thanks.

I have a new Zumo 550 (Not the one that Harley sells). I downloaded a POI from the POI Factory and following the instructions (I thought) uploaded the POI to my Garmin. Everything finished without errors. I turned the Zumo off and then back on and I can't find where the Dealers are. I suppose that I did something wrong.

So there is a new vehicle posted on Garmin's website. It is a nice looking vehicle of a Golf Cart called putter. I just downloaded it and added it to my 350. When you go into the change vehicles page on the nuvi, no vehicles are present. I went and removed, the vehicles worked, put it back on and they do not work. I only have a couple icons in there so it was not an issue of overloading.

So I've got a Garmin nuvi 750 and note that favorites/ geocaching icons and the like show up on the live map, very cool. But ...

There are places in this world where cellphone coverage isn't available. Suppose you're in one of these uncovered areas and your car broke down and all you have is your Garmin GPS unit. You know your co-ordinates, but how do you tell the civilized world where you are?

Does anyone know a good source for car icos for a Nuvi besides the Garmin site?

I'm looking for a Dodge Challenger icon.

Hi im new to GPS devices and I just ordered my Garmin 750, shouldbe expecting it soon. Anyway, I have a couple questions regarding the transfer of mp3 files from my Itunes (I have a mac) to the Garmin 750

I am a long time user of GPS systems but new to Garmin. Just bought a 755T and found this site when checking into POI's. I have used MapSource to create speed zone and school zone warnings.I have download some BMP and MP3 files from this site.

I am a new Garmin owner so I just may not know the procedure or, if you've already cracked that nut, where to look.

I was messing around with a friend's Nuvi 205, and set a random PIN number on it.

When I purposely tried to enter the wrong PIN numbers, it would just beep, but allowed me to quickly erase and enter a new # to try.

My wife has the GPS with her on a trip... She came across an interesting question which I didn't have an answer for.. Let's hope you guys do!

anybody ever run a defrag or scandisk on their garmin? I can see it is easy to do but haven't do so yet. I can't imagine it would hurt anything. Thoughts?

I am new around here and this is somewhat a multi-part question and would appreciate any insight you all have.

I downloaded MapSource from Garmin website and was using it when the map dissapeared. What do I do now?

I am a big fan of Garmin, and refer all my friends and family to buy Garmin whenever possible. I even gift out Garmin to my folks when they said they wanted a GPS.

But now I'm wishing Garmin would do somethings better.

My Garmin C320 has been rock solid, but I can't say the same of the newer Nuvi units.

I purchased a 2 Gig SD card for my 200W. After loading customs POI's to my card, I find I have plenty of room to load photos. I haven't found exactly where to load the photos. Do I create a folder or load it onto the main directory of the card? Second question: How many actually use your Nuvi to carry and display photos?

I am new to the 705 series. i found tha tmy unit is only showing one turning arrow in green in the upper left of the screen while you have multiple arrows in the manual pics. Do you know how to setup the nuvi to make it show more than the upcoming turn.

My 750 was working fine, then all of a sudden wouldn't turn on.

Any ideas on how to re-start or am I doomed to sending it in to Garmin?

I updated formware on my older C330 today and after that I removed my custom POIs from it. Now when I try to transfer POIs, I am getting message "There is not enough space on the unit, please decrease the nuber of files to be transferred." I tried by reducing the nuber but no luck.

Is there a way to access C330's hard disk?
I will appreciate your help.
