I was wondering if anyone has or know where I can find a poi file for all the Ford dealerships in the country. I pickup and bring back cars for a ford dealership in my area. Now I already bought a Garmin 350 and dont want to pay for a new one thru ford so I can have that information. I was hoping to find a poi file that I can download to my Garmin 350. Any suggestions or ideas are welcome!

I'm trying to use Easy GPS or some other free software to help me add POIs to my Nuvi 260.

I came across this thread for a qwerty keyboard on the garmap.com website. I did it with my 200W so I would assume it will work with other widescreen Nuvi's.

It uses the British English.gtt file in the TEXT folder under the GARMIN folder when the nuvi is plugged into the USB port of your computer.

Ha guys custom POI file for State owened land for hunting will be a great POI. Tell me what you think and how this is done. Charge may be 5 bucks for the POI FACTORY, this is as big as red light cams or bigger.

Can someone tell me if there is a place to document map errors with Garmin? I've run into several locations that the GPS says two roads connect and also Interstate exits no longer existing.

I have a Nuvi 2000 with maps 2009 loaded, however, the POI's did not update when the new map downloaded. So I have POI's to places that either no longer exist or never existed at the coordinates listed. I want to remove these old coordinates and install correct ones without creating a custom POI folder.

So before I was able to check the screen size on the included sample pictures on my Garmin 250W, I deleted them. Now the pictures I add are displayed small when they should fill the frame. What is the optimum screen size 640X480...1024X800 or what? If it is going to be used as a viewer while on the road then it would be nice to see an image larger that what I see now on my camera screen.

I have a friend who wants to update his nuvi 370 USA map. It has Europe as well. I have a different nuvi that has the US maps only. He's confused on updating and asked for help. What I need to know, is the update for the 2009 US map going to overwrite both US and Europe or does he need USA and Europe to update them?

I have nuvi 350, and am using a TourGuide .csv for McDonalds. I have selected the option "prompted".
What I expected was a red banner indicating a store was in the area, what I am getting is 5 loud bongs along with the red banner.

Perhaps I missed understood what the option "prompted" means. Clarification would be appreciated as well as help to stop the "bongs" or limit them to one.

I got a nice vent mount for my Nuvi 750 to replace one whose vent progs broke, keep in mind...this is not a debate on window suction mounts, dashboard mounts, vent mounts, etc......the vent mount works for my situation.

I have two Garmin 750's. Gave one to my son and one for me. They are approximately 8 months old. Both units have battery issues. Has anyone else with 7XX series units had a battery problem?

I’ve got a DOA nuvi 780 that I bought on eBay. It works fine while plugged into car or computer but the internal battery only holds a charge for about 15 minutes. So I guess it’s not really DOA but it needs a heart transplant. Or maybe the correct analogy is a FAT transplant since the body uses fat to store energy like a battery. Kind of a gross analogy! A Chubby Nuvi???

How can I transfer Favorites from Nuvi 760 to Nuvi 765? If I copy Current.gpx from Nuvi 760 to Nuvi 765, will it work? I will appreciate your help.

I upload POI's in the cvs format, open them in MS Excel, then may edit them, save them and load them into my Garmin GPS, using garmin loader.

I prefer to use Corel's (wordperfect)quattro spreadsheet as oposed to Excel. Quattro opens and edits just fine. Has anyone tried using this, and had success.

Just got my coupon book from Costco. They will be selling the 260 for $129 ($50 off) from Feb 9 - Mar 1. Only online.

I bought Nuvi 765T today. It is working fine in the car but when I tried to connect it to my PC, it is not being recognized. I have heard that hard rest fixes this problem.

Does anyone know to hard reset 765T?
I will appreciate your help.

I installed Training Center and then Mapsource, and then downloaded the new 2009.11 maps and installed them to my Nuvi. In the process the installer found Mapsource and installed the maps to it also, so I have full street level maps in Mapsource, not just the basemap.

I have a basic nuvi 250. As fas as I know it does not have any capability to support traffic alerts, But am I missing something?
