Garmin talk

Hi,

I have a Garmin Nuvi 200. I have had a few occasions where I have a location in either a Favorite or POI file that is slightly off. I can push the car to save the coordinates. Is there anyway to either export those coordinates so I can update the POI/Favorite or directly update.

I know that Free MSN is an oxymoron but, I swear, I got SOMETHING for free from the ether-waves! I have a nuvi 750 with an MSN Direct receiver thingy that I bought on eBay. When I received the nuvi, I checked the MSN Direct website to see if there was any time left on the MSN subscription but the site said that the subscription had expired.

My Friend updated my Garmin 765T on garmin.com instead of web updater and now it no longer lets me connect to we updater it says :
Some devices were found; however, none have the necessary capabilities. Please make sure your device is connected to the computer and turned on, then try again. You may also need to set the interface option on the GPS to 'Garmin' or Host.

Can a Garman Nuvi 200GPS support other folders in internal and/or external (SD card) memory and show other folders in or under the "Extra" icon on my GPS? I only have a "Custom POI" folder in/under my "Extra" icon. I want to have multiple "Custom POI" folders each with different names.

I am considering upgrading to a Nuvi with FM transmitter capability. Currently I make use of an FM transmitter for my Sirius radio, and one for my iPod both of which I use extensively in my "commute" between Phoenix and Las Vegas.

Is it a good idea to buy Nuvi 765T from ebay? I will appreciate your feedback.

For those interested, most of the local Best Buy stores here in the SoCal area are now listing the nuvi 885T as being in stock for in-store pickup.

Hopefully, it won't be discontinued in a few months like it's predecessor.

Is GDB 50 compatible with Nuvi 765 or you need GDB 55?

The Seller posted the item as NEW saying that they buy surplus. They did not think the item was used.

I have recently downloaded several POI files from this site that had only the coordinates in them. No addresses, location names, etc. This makes use of the files very difficult. Addresses have to have been available or the author of the file could not have found the coordinates. Why they didn't get put in the files is a puzzle to me.

One of the 760s we have in our trucks was hung up with a blue screen that said "updating Blue Tooth firmware - 0%". I disconnected the power and rebotted it and it came up okay. Is this something the Blue Tooth compatible units do (ie - reaching out for firmware updates via satellite)?

How many of you own a Garmin GPS and have also purchased additional maps?

I bought the Nuvi 360 when it was first released along with City Navigator Europe and Australia maps. At the time Garmin allowed one additional install. I used this additional install on my replacement Nuvi 660.

I am pretty new to POIs. if i install POIs using the POI loader in express install mode, will the sound files play when i am near a POI? or do i need to manualy set them to play using the manual mode?
I did set Proximity point alerts to ON on my GPS unit.

I have The Nuvi 660.

Does anybody upgrade garmins for a small fee?

Is there any Garmin maps for truckers. Too many times my Garmine wants to send me down a back country road that I should not be on.

Introduce myself: Purchased Garmin Streetpilot 2730 (w/XM) for use on a motorcycle. Planning 4000 mile trip over a week in May. Garmin does some things well, some things I'm disappointed in. Any help with any of these questions would be greatly appreciated:

Hello, Does anyone know if the Nuvi 200 can talk Greek? It allows me to change the keyboard and all to greek but I have not been able to figure out how to change the voice to greek, if at all posible.
