I have a Nuvi 760, I would like to know how I would upload a Metro Area project (New York). Do all the different folder headings go into one folder? Can someone give me the procedure or reference where I can find the information. Thank You.

Used my wife's Garmin 260W to find a location on the edge of the next county. The streets were in the 200's (203rd Street)in that location. The GPS kept announcing street numbers without the "2"; just "hundred third street". Anyone else aware of this?

Having a horrible time getting this to work. It appears it is downloaded to my computer, but will not allow me to use it. I have followed all FAQ and still have a problem. Could it be my computer? Thanks

I have 2 garmin gps units in 2 seperate cars, 1 is only 3 months old the other is about 1 year old. if i purchase a new map update can i install it on both of these units or do i need to buy 1 for each?

I have the Nuvi 265wt with the latest firmware update version 5.3. I got a question about the Picture Viewer Slide Show.

POI Loader for Mac crashes every time I start it on my Mac. When I have my 660 it never happened. Anhy ideas on how to get my Custom POI files onto my Nuvi 885T?

I have a nuvi 205, updated the firmware just last month, but there has been this one category in the tools section called extra's and it seems to be empty?

What is supposed to be there, can I put something in there?

Not sure the Garmin 265WT does.. LOL.
A couple of times that I tried it when finding alternate ways of getting to a destination I knew the whereabouts of, it told me my destination would be up ahead on the left when it was clearly on the right. Did it the other way too a time or two.

Over the past two years I have downloaded favorites to my Nuvi 750 from Google Maps. These go directly to my favorites and I use them for where they take me then I delete them when not needed anymore.

I looked at my files on my Nuvi and all the favorites I downloaded and deleted are still in my files.

I know I can go in and delete them, but why did they not delete when I deleted them from favorites? Is there a way to get any of these back in my favorites?

I am looking for (HSBC banks) poi files for New york and New jersey, but can't find any..

How do I make categories in my POI file similar to your Traffic camera POI files. I'm using the Costco list as a test. When I go into Garmin's POILoader. It loads the Costco stuff under extras, as individual stores. IE
selecting extras will give me

Costco San Francisco ...
Costco South San Francisco ...
etc...

I would like it to show
Costco Stores

I'm getting a traffic signal from 102.9 in Hamilton (CKDS-FM) which is an Astral Media owned station. Strange but true, and GREAT news if it stays up!

I am new to Garmin/GPS and I just found this site. I downloaded a brewery PIO file and installed it on my Garmin.

I understand the PIO file is a custom PIO and doesnt not append my preloaded files from Garmin.

I recently downloaded map version 2010.20 for my Nuvi 885t. My question now is where do I find the new map that goes on to the computer so that I may make routes and then add them to my Nuvi?

I am new at this, I want to go from Santa Maria, CA to Napa, Ca, the route the 765t selects for me is not how I want to go, but I can't find how to change it. I tried all the different settings, faster time,etc but get same route..I go to google maps, it has the way I want to go, but can't figure how to send to the GPS

I have the Nuvi 265wt with City Navigator 2010.10 installed. I have made a backup off all the files, folders, subfolders on this GPS onto my local PC hard drive. I'm about to update the GPS's map to version 2010.20.

To calibrate the keyboard on Nuvi 1390T:

1. Turn device off
2. Put finger on upper left hand corner of screen & hold it
3. Power device on (may take up to 30 seconds)
4. You will get the keyboard calibration screen
5. Calibrate keyboard
6. Done
7. Test
8. Pray that it’ll work
9. In my case, thank God, it worked.
