Using POI's

I don't know if I am doing this right, but as I drive around, I am not seeing my custom POI's that I installed. (The alerts that show you are close to one) Do you have to enable something or ? I have a Nuvi 765T. As you can tell I am a new user, the red light camera alerts work, didn't know we had so many in our small town

When you say you don't "see" the alerts, are you asking about the visual icon or the sound alert? Sometimes people use the word see when they mean "hear". Lets assume you are referring to the visual icons.
You must be zoomed in to 200 feet or less to see all the icons. some will show at 300 feet.

You can walk a horse to water, but a pencil has to be led.

Using POI Loader

When you load your custom POIs, use Manual Mode in POI Loader and enter a distance for the alert, e.g. 1320 ft.

Zumo 550 & Zumo 665 My alarm clock is sunshine on chrome.

You're right, I meant hear

You're right, I meant hear confused If I do the manual settings, that will show icons too as well as 'hear' the sound?

file names

You also need to have the file names for .BMP and .MP3 match your POI file name, and have them in the same directory.

So if you are loading a "Starbucks" POI, you should have Starbucks.csv, Starbucks.bmp, and Starbucks.mp3.
