.

Traffic will vary depending on where you are. Some areas are covered well, others are not. The best thing to do is to check the coverage area of the included free traffic subscription here:

Navteq Traffic coverage map:

Note that the coverage maps are meant as a general availability indicator. Actual coverage may vary according to what is shown on the coverage map.

You can also purchase an additional Clear Channel subscription which could further expand (again, this is highly area dependant) your traffic coverage. You can have various subscriptions on the same traffic receiver.

See https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=268 for additional available traffic subscriptions.

This might be my next unit. Costco seems to consistently have great prices, and their return policy has been hassle free in the past.

DC Traffic

what traffic system do people like in DC area up through NY?

MSN Direct Traffic

I use MSN Direct on my 765T in the MidCities area in Dallas/Ft Worth and its usually pretty good, though not perfect. I have been in traffic where it states yellow and in reality the traffic is flowing pretty smoothly. But when its red, its clogged.
