how do i download sounds from this websites?

I put some jpg pictures on a micro sd card. One set of pictures is OK: I had "compressed" them a bit so they would load easily onto another device, my cell phone.

But the pictures that were "normal," that is still about 4MB in size, show up as a group, but when I try to look at any ONE of them, the screen stays blank.

This seems to make the picture viewer of limited interest to me.

I just got my NUvi 765T and i am a little unclear about using MSN Direct. (Yes, I know they will stop their service in Jan, 2012).

In old posts (2007-2009), someone said that the cables (FM receiver) for traffic and MSN were 2 different cables and the receiver for MSN has to be purchased.
It does not come with the 765T.

Is this still true?

I hope there are Garmim people that read this an do somthing about it. The 465T is rally nothing more then a standard Nuvi with a few added features pretaining to Heavy trucks in order to make it more appealing to us, the commercial tranportation market. It fails to measure up however.

I just sent a map from Mapquest to my 885 , it says it went thru but I can't find it. Does anyone know where it does go ?

Is it possible to selectively choose which POI have proximity alerts activated. I can only find an option to have proximity alerts for all custom POI turned on or off. RLCs and DDD locations might be nice but I don't need to know every time I'm about to pass a BoA.

Hello all, I have used findthebestroute.com to generate a route of 23 stops in the city, optimized for speed obviously. I exported the csv, but this is where I am stuck. How can I import the csv file generated and make a route that the gps will then follow.

In many threads, we have speculated how far off the road being traveled will a POI trigger a sound alert. I decided I would try to find out empirically.

My wife and I each have a Garmin nuvi 360 and I was wondering if there was a way to combine our favorites between the two. I want to sync them up so that they're the same. Using two different cars causes each one to have different favorites on them.

I have a 255WT with the GTM25 FM Traffic Receiver. Recently, the metal end that plugs into the back of the GPS was damaged. Being that the GTM25 is so expensive, could I snip the end off of a standard vehicle power cable and splice it on the end of the GTM25?

Recently, the "low battery" screen has been popping up on my Nuvi 765t when I am driving. The Nuvi seems fine but there appears to be something wrong with the power cable hooked up to the bean bag mount because it happens every time the Nuvi is moved or jostled. Today, it kept on giving the message "low battery" and even when I pressed "yes" to stay on, it powered off.

My 200W was in need of a map update. Stumbled on this on the Staples Website 265WT for 129.95.

I just purchased a Nuvi 265wt last month.

I use it for making about 10 via stops and then taking me home.

I first enter my destination and then enter about 10 vias.
This seems to work fine except my route is far from optimized. It will route me in a route that takes me back & forth. I can tell from looking at a map that it is taking much longer than necessary.

How do you delete favorites on a Garmin 1450.

I just downloaded my first POI file to my Garmin Nuvi650.

POI Loader created a folder called 'Custom POIs' under menu option 'Extras'.

When I download my next file of POI's...say National Parks...will POI Loader create another, and separate folder on my Nuvi, or will it lump all POIs I download into just that one folder called 'Custom POIs'.

Got to admit that I’ve been away from the GPS scene for almost two years, after a long very long trip in 2008 I parked my Nuvi260 in a drawer and haven’t been around the POI-Factory to keep up with the newer models and features.

Some of the POI files will not show a GO selection when I select the POI. I have a Nuvi 1300. I just reinstalled the software and updated the map...still the same. We have two other Garmins and have no problem. Thanks for any help!!
