Im trying to find out how to delete All of the data (maps) in my Data Folder on the 885.

Im trying to find out how to delete All of the data (maps) in my Data Folder on the 885.

If you delete all the maps, your GPS will be useless. Why do you want to do this?

I just to delete the maps I downloaded from mapquest

I'm not sure what file name Mapquest (or did you mean MapSource?) uses, but wait until someone else can give you an answer for this, ok?

Deleting routes and favorites on nuvi 8xx.
If you are talking about deleting routes and favorites, do the following ...
1) Routes and favorites are imported through GPX files. Hook up your nuvi to your computer via USB. Find and delete these files. Usually they are in folder \Garmmin\GPX.
2) Start your nuvi in navigation mode. Go to Tools > My Data. Use the selections "Delete Selected Favorites" and "Delete Selected Routes" to delete the items you no longer route.
3) Shut down your nuvi. Remove and reinstall the battery. Restart the nuvi and check to see that your deleted routes and favorites are no longer there.
