Hello Everyone,

Does any one know if there is any way to adjust the speed of the simulation mode in the Garmin unit? I am testing some POIs I loaded and wanted to see if/how they appear along the route, so speeding up/pausing the simulation would be helpful.

Does anyone know if it is possible to edit the coordinates of favorites on the Garmin 265wt? I downloaded a location from Google Maps complete with phone number and descriptive information. However, I can tell from the map the the coordinates a wrong by 1/2 mile as the crow flies. I'd like to just edit those coordinates rather than create a new location from scratch and import it into the GPS.

Does anyone know if there is a map source for Lebanon? I looked on the Garmin site but no luck

I've been dragging location and family photos from my PC to my Garmin and realized that there is no need to use large filesize pics to display photos on my Garmin.

The Garmin screen is 4" by 2.2".

I edited my 12 MP photos that are about 5 MB in filesize (jpg) and scaled them down to 4"x 2.2" in imagesize and changed the resolution from 300 dpi to 90 dpi.

I just purchased a GArmin 265WT and am paranoid about theft. I live near Newark, NJ. I realize that there are many precautions that I can take. But I read about this today and thought it may be useful to others.

I created a full screen size picture file (Photoshop) that says:
REWARD
CALL
123-555-1212
no questions asked

I have a few routes in my Garmin 1450 in "My Data" that I want to delete.

Then I go to Tools/MyData/Delete Selected Route(s), but when I press on "Delete Selected Route(s)" to select the route(s), it turns off my GPS. Certainly a bug!

I have contacted Garmin Support about this.

Anybody experiencing the same problem?

Can you add pictures of google maps satelite view to nuvi 1200?

I have a nuvi 1200 and want to remove the pictures that came with it and add destination picture i want!how do i do that?

I got the same e-mail that almost everyone else here got last week, my 260 is in need of updated maps but can’t decide which one to get between the nüMaps Lifetime or nüMaps Onetime.

Hey all,

Going to Italy in a bit with my 265WT and pondering which of these guys is better - I'm planning on getting into some of the smaller towns - (Sienna, Montepulciano etc) and I do want the detailed coverage, but cant tell from the Garmin site if everything on Italy only is included in the full Europe database... Price difference is only 30 bucks (99 vs 69)..

the Bay Landing listing is incorrect for the Garmin GPS. Is there a way of correcting it. I haave a Nuvi 1350 that is new to us.

I keep some family photos (Jpg) on my Nuvi.

Some of these unedited photos are 3-5 MB in size.
I don't want to use up unnecessary space on my Nuvi with my photo collection. I don't need a 12 megapixel picture for viewing on my Garmin.I am willing to modify the filesize & resolution with Photoshop.
Rather than trial & error, perhaps someone knows the answer.

My question is:

I was sure this was answered before, no luck in finding it though. I noticed on my trip to Oregon how annoying the distance shown was. Why don't these figures match? An example is one of my favorites called Oregon Zoo. It tells me it's South from my place and 259.5 Miles from here. I click it and a little window behind the GO! button comes up and tells me it's 311.4 Miles plus other info.

Does anyone know if there is a problem with garmin web site with downloading the Web updater ?
I can down load everything else but not this..

I noticed that Jill and Jack, the only American Red Light Camera sound files here, are computer generated and a little herky jerky. Does anyone know of other sources of American voices?

I created my own this time (it's easy) so not that big of a deal but....just curious.

I live in Tampa. I shore fish, bridge fish, wade fish, etc., all the time. Does anyone have any POI data for fishing spots in Florida, especially on the West Coast?

I've been searching for days and I can't find any real information.

Last night I hopped in the car to pick up some take out from one of our favorite restaurants (about 10 miles). I have been driving this route for 20+ years.
Just for kicks I put the restaurant in NUVI and asked to take me there the fastest way.
Normally I take a main road, 4 side streets and there we are. Same return trip.

After I updated all programs and map in my Garmin 1490T I lost the American English-Jack Voice in my GPS, now it only showed American English and American English-Jill. Does anyone have any idea how to get back Jack's voice? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
