I was on a long drive yesterday when I looked at my gps and noticed in the top left corner where it would show you which way u will turn ahead there was a orange flag there in stead. When I did get to that location nothing happened it just went away. Anybody know what that was ?

Via point

It's a "via point" which occurs when you're driving on a route with intermediate stop(s) in addition to the final destination. The final destination is a B&W checkered flag and the via point(s) (shown on the map, and for your 885, also in the upper left hand corner "turn" indicator) are orange flags. Yes, as you pass a via point, it will disappear until the next one comes due.

thanks, now i remember. I sent that map from mapquest and i did put that in, it was the first time i used mapquest for gps.
