We just got back from a 1200+ mile trip to and around Southern California. Previous to this I had not seen any Junction View (JV) displayed on my unit. This trip I finally got to see it in action.

TTS Number 70 and 71 for a Garmin Nuvi 660 deal with loss of Satellite reception, though I've never heard them ever spoken. I'm guessing these prompts are for a different Nuvi, and are not used in the 660......

Number 65 and 66 deal with loss of Power, and I've never heard them, either

Number 93 works, but Number 94 through 96 don't, and they are simelar....

Have you ever bought a stolen GPS on the internet? I have. One of the internet sellers just sold me a used Nüvi 760. The GPS was almost brand new! Tried to register it on my Nüvi account, was already registered. Contacted Garmin, friendly helpful people, long story, but finally got a message: the GPS was stolen. How often does that happen?

The recently introduced Garmin Nuvi 2460LMT takes some getting used to. I upgraded from the Street Pilot 2610.

The main reason for purchasing the 2460 was to utilize the Speed Warning feature, the Red Light and Speed Camera Alerts and the larger 5" screen.

There have been a few surprises along the way as I started using it and I would like to hear from other users too.

I just got a Garmin 1350 LMT as an upgrade from my old TomTom. I downloaded and installed tons of custom POI files from poifactory. Now, how do I choose which of them I want to have icons show for on the map when I drive by them?

I do not want alerts foe these POIs. I simply want to see, for example, a McDonalds logo on the map when I drive by one.

Can the Garmin maps be run on an SD Card? If they can, how do you load them? Garmin support said it could be done but I wasn't near my computer at the time. I don't remember seeing an option to update to SD when running the Map Update. Are there more choices if you run it manually?

I think I followed all instructions concernng the downloading of Poi files using POI downloader. At the end I got an error message. Now my computer cannot find my Zumo 550 and I can't even turn my Zumo off.

I would appreciate if somebody could help me.

Is it possible to avoid the advertisements popping up on Nüvi 1370T and 2370LT
AND: Is it possible to use Tourguide POI in these models, as in Nuvi 760?

Garmin has recalled certain model Nuvis to replace the battery.

One types in the serial number to see if it covered by the recall.

Unfortunately, my Nuvi is not covered - so no free battery for me

My Nuvi 750 has 2GB of internal memory with very little free space. The latest 2012 map update worked, but I can see the possibility that future map updates will not fit.

I am also using a 8GB SDHC card for POIs, and I suppose maps can also be placed on the SDHC card.

Can anybody tell me how to set the volume louder than the usual 100%? I had sent one to some one and they internaly adjusted the volume level so the unit can be heard over the big diesel motor.

Rather than buy new maps, I am considering moving from my four-yaear old Nuvi 650 to the Nuvi 3790LMT.

Looking at reviews of this GPS on Amazon.com and cnet, I repeatedly see concerns about the unit being extremely hot. Almost too hot to touch.

4 week old 2011 Ford Escape Can't find it...

So.... You know what I did?

I called "Lynn" at the Ford Executive Office, Yes, I have her direct number ! , and she is "Checking into this".

I finally got up enough nerve to replace the battery on my 765T! I followed the instruction video over youtube.com, it was a snap, and surprise of surprises, it works! I also have to do the same thing to a 760, should be no problem. Much, much cheaper than sending it off to Garmin, and it's as good as new.

I don't know what the procedure is on duplicate posts, but since this isn't just Garmin Related, I'll post this in both forums......

I Complained considerably in a letter to Ford Exes about my new Escape not having the capability of User POI's, even though they have a Bi-Directional USB port and do accept programs and data from the USB port.

Went from a 660 to a 2350. The proximity alerts used to go off as I went over a red light cam on an overpass, it no longer does. Also, it used to go off when I was one avenue parallel from a cam, and it no longer does. So to prove that they even work at all on the 2350, I ran a red light. It did go off. j/k
