I am considering the purchase of a new NUVI unit, and the tracklog feature is an important one for me.

I am considering the 765t (refurbished), 2360lmt, and 2460lmt units.

EDIT: Also including the 775t (refurbished) to the list...

can somebody explain to me how to put poi on a garmin nuvi 1350lmt

Has anybody heard anything lately about whether Garmin ever intends to offer Garmin StreetPilot for Android Phone? As I look at there website, I see:

-Garmin StreetPilot for Windows Phone

-Garmin StreetPilot for iPhone

-Garmin Mobile for BlackBerry

-Garminfone (Which is an Android)

anyone know the correct custom poi icon format and size for 37xx series? the same icons used to work for my 13xx series, but not anymore on 37xx. then read else where that the icon needs to be 8bit bmp (256colors), it shows up now BUT it has to zoom-in all the way down to see a tiny square that dont look like a 22x22 pixel size..

It seem that I have downloaded the red ligt camera file twice. How do I delete one of them.

I've been using the "Garmin Lock" for a long time, which requires you enter a four digit PIN every time you turn on the GPS. Today I turn on my Nuvi 855 and the screen prompts me for the PIN, but it does not accept any keyboard inputs.

For some reason my Nuvi260 doesn't want to treat the Florida Turnpike as a toll road, while in the Miami area it insisted on routing me on the Tpke

I have set shortest or faster doesn't make a difference, also set avoidances of Toll Rd. and Hwy and still wants me on the pike.

Has anyone else in Florida experienced similar problem?

The Nuvi is running Navigator NT 2008

I went on a road trip from Toronto to Myrtle Beach and plotted my route on Google maps and then sent the route to my Garmin nuvi 660. Going down was fine it followed the Google route no problem. But coming home it did not go the same route that i programmed in for the return trip.

How do I load POI icon to my Nuvi1390LMT? Do we have intructions anywhere?

I just downloaded and installed the POIs of the rest areas, but don't know how to intall the icons.

I have downloaded POI's for Harley Davidson, Culvers and Best Western along
with their icons from this website. Using the latest version of Garmin's
POI Loader I installed these three POI's on my Garmin Nuvi 3790T. The
Harley icon shows up at the various locations I checked, but the icons for
Culvers and Best Western do not show up anywhere. I tried uninstalling all

I have a Nuvi 765T. I realize that plugging in the mini-USB into the Garmin to charge (even if its not connected to a computer) leaves the GPS unit pretty much unusable. Does anyone know of a charger that uses the standard Garmin charging port, but instead of going to a car charger adapter -- still goes to a USB port (so I can use a multi-USB car charger)?

Been playing with custom POIs and I can't seem it get anything to work.The only thing I see is the bmp image on the screen. I have these files in a folder I named..

The extension names are not a part of the actual name.They actually look like this..

I was in Bayside, NY and wanted to find the quickest route to the Macy's in Douglaston. I spelled out Macy's and the nearest Macy's was 6 miles away. I did get myself to the Douglaston Macy's and while sitting in front of the store did another search on my Nuvi. Again, it did not show the Douglaston store. What gives? This store has been here for over 40 years.

I have a Garmin 3790LMT. When I do a simulation drive, it freeze the route before it starts. Does anyone else have this problem.

I'm replacing a nüvi 265WT with a nüvi 2350LMT. I'd like your view on which data, if any, to transfer from the old to my new unit.

I upgraded when map updates for the 264WT were no longer available, because I wanted a unit that would remember routes and waypoints, and because the wife and I plan a major trip to Lake Tahoe later this month.

After installing updated red light cam poi file to nuvi 255w does anyone know of a way to test rlc audio alert tone(s) while unit is still attached to computer by USB or otherwise,
It would be cool to be able to hear what the tones sound like before taking the unit on the road?

I know the question has been asked many times but I cannot find the answer quickly. Could someone (or a number of someones) tell me if the GPS ON the windscreen is legal in the following states: California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. Second question, can cell phones be used WITHOUT handsfree in the same states (My Bluetooth went south and I cannot pair to my GPS.)

This is a dumb quesdtion, but I downloaded some POI onto my new garmin 2460. How do I find the POI I downloaded? Thanks for taking the time to answer.

Garmin has released a major update of their BaseCamp software for both the PC and the MAC. Here is the changelog for version 3.2.1

Changes made from version 3.1.3 to 3.2.1:

Moved the various property tabs to a separate dialog
Added swapping the map and data list UI regions
