New farmers market update from Mahoney

I realize everyone contributes to the various POI files on POI Factory ... but somehow, one poi file maintainer seems to be responsible for 75 percent of the files I follow here.

I am endlessly amazed ... and excited ... when I see that Mahoney has posted an update to any one of the POI files he maintains.

Today, I noticed that he posted a significant update to the Farmers Market POI file ... and added 5400 ... yes, not a type ... 5400 new farmers market to the file.

I just had to publicly "call him out" to say thanks for all of his efforts.

Not only does my wife rag me to stop at every farmers market we pass ... now she will be able to ramp up miles in advance of 5400 new farmers markets.

Ha!

Yea, I don't know how he does it and keeps them updated. It is an undaunting task to find the closed/newly opened locations. Now some things don't change (which is good), but still it is a lot of work.

He deserves every award he gets. He works hard for this site.

He has helped me out several times and if you don't understand something he explains it until you can he is a very patient person.I was surprised when he didn't get maintainer of the year this last time.

Maintaining Files

Thanks for the very kind words regarding the files. I really appreciate hearing this feedback. This definitely makes the tasks more enjoyable.

Maintaining Files

I agree, I have worked on a couple of POI's with Mahoney, and he always goes above and beyond to produce a good clean POI. Keep up the good work and thanks for the help. smile
