I am just wondering if anyone has purchased any of these new Garmin 2012 nuvi models.

Makes me wonder if Garmin had the sense to add more internal memory to these new models so that map upgrades will go more smoothly?

I just got 1350LMT dirt chip at $149 with free map updates and FM traffic for life. My wife's 260 was cracked in an accident and my 350 still works great, but does look a dinosaur.

Anyway I never had traffic before the free FM traffic works , but shows poor signal. The help on the GPS stated getting an external antenna may help. Do these really help?

Hi everyone. I have kind of an off the wall question.

I replaced the battery myself in my 205 recently (it was easy). One corner of my sticker on the bottom now wont stay down. I think over time it will get worse. As I dont have any experience working with stickers and decals, does anyone have advice as to reattching it without screwing it up?

Last July Garmin released an application to enable users with lifetime map subscriptions to check and /or automatically download new maps as soon as the are released for their Garmin GPS. This was welcome news as I have a 2350LMT and like to keep it up to date.

My wife and I were driving to Vancouver, some areas have very long stretches without a passing lane. We've come across a few instances where someone coming towards us took a big chance in passing and nearly collided with us doing so.

I have been successfully using redlight camera data for some time but since the last update (last week?) one of the warnings does not work.

I have garmin nuvi 760 and I would like to turn on all the proximity for all roadside rests. Is there a way to do this?

I purchased a 1350lmt today. Put in a microSD card, downloaded POI loader from Garmin website, proceeded to load custom POI downloaded from POI factory. POI Loader loads fine but when I tap on Extras, nothing. It says no extras were loaded. Called Tech Support at Garmin, the tech told me to put the custom POIs on the device itself. Why? Why?

If you are looking for cheaper updates than Garmin sells them for amazon.com commonly sells the onetime and lifetime maps for less. The onetime is about $8 less and the lifetime is about $18 less.

It seems like every time I look ay my Favrite Files, I see another update for Walmart. Just how many stores can the build every week?

Traffic works, but the traffic search list is missing the color code on the left. When individual entry is clicked, it shows the color.

What is the easist way to geo code pictures that were not taken with a gpsr. Photos could be years old but I would now like to associate with a location (perhaps where the photo was taken or what it represents). Im aware of many free ware programs on the internet but they are all focused on using a gpsr to sync with pic locations.

An Amazon seller currently has Lifetime Maps for $49.40, including the $6.44 shipping charge. This is the lowest I've seen them in a while. Note that this is for the physical card with the lifetime code, it is about $30 more to get the code with online delivery.

"Why when I load my Private POI ( red light cameras ) I can see icon, but I can't hear a sound. I am using GARMIN NUVI 1450 LMT with SD card." How I can fix this problem.

Do you think it will get lower or has the price hit bottom?

I guess...no, I know I screwed something up. I went into change the "recalculating", voice 0n my 660 Nuvi to my own creation and now when it's suppose to say recalculating it doesn't say nothing at all. I thought I backed up the original file butttt. What was I supposed to do to change the saying to play my creation? Can I retrieve the original from someone?
