Syncing nuvi 760 With Verizon LG Cosmos 2

I have a Garmin nuvi 760 and it was synced with my 2 year old Verizon LG phone.

I just got a new Verizon LG Cosmos 2 and cannot sync it with my nuvi.

I remember having many problems syncing my old phone with the nuvi and just when I was giving up all hope I got it to work. But no this time.

I am sure it is the nuvi. I synced my Jawbone 2 with the new phone without any problems and also synced my new phone with my vtech cordless home phone without any problems.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Bluetooth

Is not one of Garmin's best supported features... it may be Garmin needs to do a Bluetooth update.

Things to try: when paring, have the phone find the Nuvi and see if that works... if it doesn't try and have the Nuvi find the phone... I know it should work either way - but, sometimes it will make a difference how well things will work depending on how devices are paired.

Thanks for the suggestion. After your message I turned the nuvi on and totally ignored it. I went to Bluetooth in my phone and the pairing worked fine.
