POI projects

I don't know if this is something that could be put into a POI format, but are there any POI files for long term construction projects?

Hi, just recently bought a GArmin Nuvi 785T. Just want to know how will I put a notification/alert sound in my nuvi everytime I'm making the right turns or miss the turns as well. I found this feature in Magellan units. A ding-dong alert sounds everytime you make a turn. I am using mapsource as my editor and poiloader to upload the .gpx file into my Garmin.

I just read that a new Alpine Coaster will be opening soon in Duluth MN. I have heard of roller coasters and alpine slides before, but alpine coasters are new to me. In fact, I believe that this will only be the fifth one in the US. Would anybody here think this is a worthwhile POI file, or is it too small to be worthwhile?

Has anyone considered doing a POI of all AANR & TNS naturist/nudist clubs in the United states? We are members of AANR and would love to have this on our Garmin as we travel.

I have a Garmin and I finally have the TourGuide working properly. I currently have a 700 series garmin not the one listed. Anyhow, is it possible to have a menu of different tourguides loaded on the sd card and choose only one that you want to run instead of all of them? To better explain, basically the Garmin will read all the files and all of the POIs on that file.

This will bring you directly to the enterence from three directions. At the current placement it required you to do a large circle from two directions.

I've made my introduction and perused the list of places of worship and notice there is not a file for vineyards of the US present. I'm a member in my hometown and would like to have some help if there is actually an interest in one. comments, suggestions?

I found the right mp3 files I want to use for my alerts. Is there a easy way to download the sounds into my Garmin?

Have a question, when you download the latest update for cameras and speed alerts do you keep the older updates along withe the new?

I have noticed that most all POI file names have no spaces in the file name and many use the "-" or "_" characters where a space would be appropriate.

Most alway I rename the files to suit my taste and this normally involves introducing spaces into the name. I have not experienced any problems with POI loader loading them. I use a 765T.

Does anyone know where I can find a .csv file with all of the interstate exits in the US on it? It would be very helpful.

Dont see to have seen it on here but anybody out there have a POI for all alberta campgrounds?

I would like to propose a new POI that deals with custom made chocolates. I know there are lots of candy stores but this POI should only be shops that make their own chocolate on site. I would ask that if you recommend a shop, that you submit the location in the format below.

There are two entrances. If you use this one:

This allows you to enter from all directions.

I have some problems with CSV and GPX files with POEDIT:

1) I tried to edit downloaded csv-files with MS-Excel and handle them afterwards with POEDIT. Eachtime I received error messages from POEDIT like "List index out of bounds (2)" and "3 to 3 values expected on line 0". This even happened when I only opened a file with Excel and saved it again.
