POI projects

The 46 Henry's Farmers Market and Sun Harvest Market stores are owned by Smart & Final, Inc.

Henry's Farmers Markets POI at http://www.poi-factory.com/node/26390 lists 37 locations and

Henry's and Sun Harvest Markets POI at http://www.poi-factory.com/node/30776 lists 44 locations.

Henry's and Sun Harvest Markets POI is missing:

We are travelling across the USA and Canada this summer for two or three months - all by car. Yesterday I was aksed if there was a POI file for Weight Watcher locations while on the road....so if one exists, I cannot find it!

Any ideas would help as I would like a peaceful trip and finding Weight Watcher locations is a small price to pay!

Not that its a big deal but I wanted to point out the following issue with the Florida Interstate Rest Area POI download located here:

For both the Garmin and TomTom download "Florida" is spelled incorrectly in the file name as "Flordia". Again, not a big deal but maybe someone would like to fix that when they get a chance.

Apple opened their new App Store this morning and one of the apps they offer is Garmin's POI Loader v2.2.0 for Mac (the Garmin site only has v2.1.0 for Mac). This version apparently does more extensive error checking and it flagged three of my existing POI files as invalid or containing data format errors. The three files are Taco_Bell_USA_Canada.csv, WiFi.csv and National Parks_US_Canada.csv.

I'm having trouble locating a BP Gas and or BFS Foods poi file. Is there one? If not might be a good project.

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone is working or had the idea of working on a Poutine POI for Quebec (primarily) and other provinces/states.

My gf is a big poutine fan and we would love to be able to add this type of POI to our GPS.

I did a search and found the Hot-Dog POI, which is similar, but not quite what I'm looking for.

Came across some great BBQ in Rolla, MO last night. Currently it is in Missouri, Illinois, and Iowa. The pulled pork has a wonderful smoke ring and bark and is served directly from the smoker. Five sauces are on the table so you can pick your favorite but the meat doesn't need any. I've started a file using the Rolla location and will add the rest after the New Year.

Does anyone have a list of manufacturer's. This list would contain the location of repair shop listed as Frightliner, Cat, Cummins, Detroit, Workhorse or anything that would help a stranded motorist, RVer, that would need help.
