POI projects

Greetings Everyone!

This discussion group is for the Samantha Brown North America (Travel Channel) (CSV Format) POI project file. Please report any coordinate/address corrections and or updates, closings, etc. Also, feel free to provide comments about the POI. I wanted to get a DEDICATED GPS brick and mortar store POI going for all those that need accessories, and perhaps replacement units etc. while on the road.

These stores sell nothing but GPS'.

I've started with a few Canadian stores for now, but if you can post US as well, I'll add them and get it up-to-date.

I have started to contact the POI File Managers that are in charge of larger projects with lots of state divided files.

When the project is a chain of stores we only need one file unless it is really huge and need to be broken up by region.

Has anyone used itouchmap.com? I've been using this site amongst some others and have found it to be really easy to use, I've tested it on a few locations and is very accurate with co-ordinates.

Hi Everyone,

I need help with Garmin mobile PC and POI's

Using POIloader I have succussfully loaded my POI's into my mobile PC laptap, but then when I open mobile pc I can not find them under the Extras tab? Please help? What am I doing wrong. The sad thing about this is I use a Trimble GeoET for work and can not figure out this Recreation version of Garmin.

If you post a POI collection have some way to contact you for additions and corrections. Either have an email address tied to your user or start a topic with the same subject. I wanted to add to a recently added poi list but cannot contact the owner.

OK. I'm flummoxed. What is the HTML coding to make the source anchor http://gpsvisualizer.com/ appear as a blue, dynamic destination anchor "GPS Visualizer"?

I tried "A href="http://gpsvisualizer.com/"GPS Visualizer/A" using the correct "<" and ">" and "/" symbols, but only end up showing the destination title in an unlinked state, as in:
