POI projects

I have coordinates that were wrong from the ones that I frequent:

Gentlemen:
I recently purchased a Garmin nuvi 3790T
Software Version 2.50
GPS Firmware 2.20
I have downloaded and installed (through the POI loader) “Rest Areas Combined”, along with “Red Light and Speed Cameras”. Under “Proximity Points” it shows “Custom POIs” with a checkmark and “Alerts” Enabled.

I found an error in the 'Jellystone Park Campgrounds US & Canada' CSV POI file. But I could not figure out how to contact the file owner. So, here it is...

Is there any files that map out Little league baseball parks in the south(tn,ms,ark etc)

Wonder if a new category can be created..."RV'ing"

It might contain:
Free Campgrounds
Diesel truck stops, Flying J's, Petro's, TA's
Subways
Camping World
KOA's
Good Sam parks
National and State Parks
National Historic sites
CAT, Cummins engine repair
Places that RV'ers might go to and want help with
etc.

Today while driving down I 35 in Fort Worth, my Nuvi alerted me about a Love's truck stop in the area. Unfortunatly, there is no Love's there. It's a residential area, just south of downtown. There is a Loves a few miles south of there at the intersection of I 35 and Garden Acres. The coordinates are 32 degrees 35.923 N and 97 degrees 19.060 W.

Because we're always crisscrossing the USA and Canada, I'd love a Garmin POI file listing the various Homebrew Wine and Beer shops.

There are a number of online vendors who have store front shops ... and I'd like to be able to set up an TourGuide to alert me when I cruise close to one.

Would anyone be interested in a POI of abandoned buildings? One of my consistent subjects for photography is abandoned structures. I may be the only one that is fascinated by them, but thought I would ask?

I downloaded POI's from POI Factory and then dumped them into my Garmin 765. I am only seeing 6 of them under the Custom POI folder when there should be 12. When I try to load them again (the missing ones), it tells me they are already there, yet I cannot find them. Nope, not under Favorites either.
Any ideas??? anyone??

I noticed in the past week that the "WalMart, Sam's Clubs, and Super WalMart Centers US and Canada Combined" .gpx POI file is being updated frequently. Is the .csv file still being maintained? I ask because I'm a Nuvi 350 user with little additional storage capability and the .gpx file is HUGE. Thanks in advance for any responses.

I did a search for Maggie Moo's and found a short thread back in 2008. Best I could tell it was never taken to a project level.
I have completed the eastern US (east of the Mississippi river) in a csv format using the web site for the addresses and Google for the Lat/Long. It has 101 stores.
I will upload it tonight.

Is anyone working on a POI file for Shipley Do-Nuts?

I recently loaded the POI file "Las Vegas Casinos and Hotels" (http://www.poi-factory.com/node/1046). The marks were WAY off. I left McCarran airport headed for the strip because I already knew where the Imperial Palace was. The POI was pointing me in the totally opposite direction. (Later I followed the lead.

Don't really know what to do with this info, but the location of the DQ in Elko, NV is off by about a mile. My Nuvi 765T had me headed down a dirt road to nowhere. The actual address for the DQ is 376 11th St, Elko, NV, 89801. When I looked up that address on Google maps, it is accurate, but I don't know how to get the GPS coordinates for it.

I have contacted Volvo Truck HQ regarding a POI file.
They never thought of it... Go figure! So as I travel
America in this New 780 Volvo Semi truck I shall be
collecting data on locations. Would Greatly appreciate
any and all help out there.

I have created a GPX file using Extra_POI_Editor. For some reason I get an "invaild file" error when using the Garmin POI Loader. The file loads properly in MapSource.

Any Suggestions? Thanks
