Great motorcycle roads poi?
Hey everybody. I'm a new member here and also a motorcycle rider. I did a search and there doesn't seem to be a POI providing good motorcycle roads/routes that are twisty, scenic, nice pavement etc. Does this exist yet?

Hot Springs poi is called Thermal Springs
Does anybody know of a poi file listing all the hot springs ... both developed or just a bubbling pool of hot water, in which I can soak my aging body?
Does such an poi file exist? I've searched here (found a couple of states, but no national file) and other places to no avail.
EDIT...found it ... it's here called Thermal Springs.

Washington State Ferries SCHEDULE
Ok, I've got a GPX file with links to images in a particular subdirectory that compiles to a beautiful GPI file with POI Loader. The images are cut from the WSDOT ferry system PDF of the schedule book. I used images instead of retyping the times so that it is easier to update each quarter when they change the schedule.

KFC File
I recently reformatted this file. I am presently comparing each line item to the listing on the KFC official website. This includes adding new locations, deleting locations not shown on the website, correcting phone numbers and addresses. I am presently working on New York state. This has been quite a task and I am now looking for volunteers.
Genealogy
My family genealogy has been researched over time by three different family members from three different branches of the family, and each branch is now saved in one of three different systems, i.e. PAF (LDS), FTM (Family Tree Maker) and Geni (.com).
Each of these system files have place names and the individual or individuals associated with each of the place names.

Updated Kaiser POI?
Hi Folks,
Does anyone have an up to date POI file for all the Kaiser Permante facilities in the USA? I looked at the one for California and A LOT of the facilities around these parts(California) are missing. (Ie, Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, Petaluma, San Rafael)
I would like to have a file such as this for when I travel out of state I.C.E.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Save a large Google Earth Search
I did a Google Earth search of businesses, that resulted in 300+ places. They were in folders as groups of 10. Is there an easy way to save ALL of the search results to a KML file?

Custom POI's from the POI.GPI file.
If I copy the POI.gpi file from my Garmin to my computer, is there a program that can open it and search for items to let me create a custom POI .csv file? For example, find all of the Waffle House and Cracker Barrel entries in the gpi file and copy the text to create a Breakfast POI?

TourGuide pictures popup when you get there
It'd be great if the jpg picture you had would popup when you get within the set alert distance... Anyone know if this is possible, or anyone know for sure that it's not possible???

Best Breakfast Sites
I was thinking it would be great to have a list of the best breakfast joints. I'm talking about the homemade buiscuit and gravy places, the type of places you can still get a pork tenderloin buiscuit with hoop cheese. Fastfood joints sure get old quick. What do yall think??

I have a great idea for a set of POI's that I'd like to see developed and I wouldn't mind doing it myself, but the problem is, I don't know where to begin with something like this.

FedEx Express Stations
Im doing a project for myself that list all the FedEx EXPRESS stations. These are the stations only, NOT KINKOS OR DROPBOXES. I travel alot and trying to find a station i can send out a package or have an inbound package held for pickup can be difficult to find.
If people are interested ill put it up, if not then hey i got it for myself!!!

Recycling Centers
Has anyone thought about a POI for Recycling centers? I know that most people can find out one time for their area and then they don't have to worry about it again. So in that case it's might not be very useful. The reason I'm asking is that I have no idea where one is around my cabin, and led me to think that it would be nice for the GPS to show me.

am finding some problems with their data. Example:
They've got a CA lat/lon listed in the FL section!?!?
Does anyone know an easy/free way to batch-sort
~20,000 lat/lon pairs by state?
