My Garmin won't talk to me
Shortly after I got my Nuvi 350, it stopped talking. I have tried changing settings, going back to default settings, etc. Nothing seems to bring her back! I bought it from Walmart.com online. Do I have any recourse with Garmin or Walmart?

Total Red-Light Cameras
Just a little curious as to why the total never seems to change even though the red light locations are updated each week? It's been 298 for a long time.
For example:
"Washington, DC / Baltimore, MD Area (298)" Thanks

Which is better DVD or Data Card?
I am going to purchase the Europe maps and not sure which is a better choice. On the one hand, The DVD can be used to install as few or many countries as you wish. , on the other hand, with the Data Card it can only be used as is and not transferred to your GPS. The DVD also required an unlock code.

2009 Map updates
Is there a way to tell if the new 2009 maps include road information for my area? I would like to see if there is a new road in my area (finished 2 years ago) or would I waste my money only to find out it is not there...... Thank you

Ham Radio VHF/UHF Repeaters???
Howdy!
I just got my "Ham" License (Amateur Radio) and I wonder if there is enough interest to try locating VHF/UHF Open repeaters??
Sort of a handy thing, but if your radio is on, you're probably gonna know there either is or isn't one nearby.
Just a thought!

My 1st GPS
Greetings,
I finally purchased a gps an chose the Garmin nuvi 680. I based my decision on Consumer Report's review and was wondering what the forum's concensus was on this model. Is there anything I need to watch out for with this model? I purchased it from TigerDirect.ca.

This is off topic and completely inappropriate, but what the hey! I'll ask it anyway.
Is anyone else having problems getting to a lot of Web sites this morning? For example, I can't get to my home page, which is cnn.com, or to sportsillustrated.com.

Psychologist in the house?
Why is it that a good number of visitors to this GPS forum and other forums like cameras etc will rather get a personalized answer to their questions rather than looking in the FAQ where they could find the answer to most questions?
Do they hate reading canned answers? Or do they hope to get an answer they will like better?
