Minneapolis trip
Later this month I'll be going to Minneapolis/St. Paul. This 1,068(as says in the gps) will have me waste a lot of money on trip. Before I go, I wonder if there was any good poi's I could put on my favorites. I already downloaded all the poi files in the Minneapolis City Project. Just wondering if there is anything else that might be interesting for me to see.

North America NT 2009
Has anyone purchased the NT 2009 update yet? If so can you tell that much difference between it and the NT 2008? What's the difference in the maps?

Nuvi Vs Streetpilot
I am planing to upgrade my Streetpi;ot c340. I like the features of the c550, specifically (TTS-Street Names, Bluetooth and MP3). I am considering a Nuvi. Can someone tell me which Nuvi model compares to the SP c550 most closely. I do like routing and fm transmitter in addition to other features mentioned, but I am looking for the closest match. The nuvi's overall size appeals to me.

Chit Chat Thread for the week of June 2nd 2008
This is the place to talk about things that are not gps related, you can discuss whatever you would like, as long as it is clean. Remember we have families that have their children involved in the GPS fun and we don't want to make parents feel uncomfortable when their children ask what that word means.
Have fun...
This thread will be closed on Monday and a new one will be opened.

Contributors of the week 2008-05-26
This week has been such a wonderful productive week at the factory that I find myself overwhelmed with the decision of the COW awards.
I look out at a sea of contributors and have found at least 5 worthy people.
This is not a bad problem to have it is just a tough one because I would not want someone feeling unappreciated after all their great contributions.

Best mount by far
I have been such a moron for not listing to others advice about the beanbag mount. For more than a year now I have spent hours devising different ways to mount my Nüvi. My last try was to fabricate a tall tubular thing that I glued the black disk to for using the sucson cup mount.

"Combined" POI List
Hi. I'm new here so pardon the stupid question. What is the definition of a "combined" list? How does it differ from a simple list? Thanks.

Hello (*Waving*)
I thought I would say Hi, to everyone. This is a nice website you have here. I never knew it existed until I started researching GPS's.
I live in a suburb (15 min from the strip)of Las Vegas, so if I can help you with any POI's in my location, I'd love to put my new nuvi 760 to work. I really don't understand the "jist" of it but I'm sure if I continue reading I can figure it out.

MSN DIRECT TRAFFIC
I switched to msn-direct last month. Has attractive menus of various info. I find things kinda slow though with the updating(I DO leave it plugged in). I have seen flash flood icons on the main screen and when pressed lots of map info, yet I have NEVER heard any traffic text or audio at the main gps screen.
