Hi! I just joined & downloaded some POIs to my Mac to my Garmin. But I can't find them on the Garmin. I put them on a Sandisc.

I'm so excited but where are they?

This week we are recognizing two of our family favs here on the site. I am running out of unique things to say about these two because it has all been said before. Retired Technician and Motorcycle Mama, you guys really are the two top stars here.

So I am pretty new to gps units and even more so to my nuvi 360. I have been using the nuvi for all of my local trips that I already know how to travel to, to help gain confidence in the unit's abilities. I have had several things happen thus far that make me slightly weary.

Further to the revolution in mobile phone gps .. Do any of you have an idea if its possible to upload custom poi to nokia N95 or 6610 navigator ..??? what about the PDA ..??

I mentioned in an earlier post, that due to some GPS's having limited real estate, does anyone use the 9 Char. Zip Code. Give me a good reason to use all 9 rather than 5, since the coordinates get you to the location.

does anyone know that if you install the upgrade do you have to uninstall the old version in a 2720 or does both of them have to be in there

I'm looking for a new GPS. Can someone please suggest me a GPSr that has:

1) Pocket PC based PDA, so I can store contact list, calendar, etc.

2) A GPS, preferably with newer chipset (e.g. SIRF II or better).

i download weigh station and it work great but i dotn know what it mean next weigh station ...it has number and letter like example weigh station e0xd?

Subscription to Traffic Navigator was renewed. Horrible driving conditions in Atlanta. The device gave me alternate routes and saved my sanity. lol

I would like to mark selected posts as read. This would help skip threads didn't apply to me or my system. I am not able to figure out how to mark selected items as read so they will no longer appear in my list. Is this possible?

Has anybody here ever seen ANY businesses that have POI files listed on their own webpages?

My Brother Installed the New Garmin City Navigator American NT V2008 or I should say he tried to on his windows xp home edition pc and it wiped out his registry
and he can't even restore or put it in safe mode or any thing it wont even reload the windows disk he is very upset If anyone herd of this or knows anything about please let me know Thanks

Hi All, I have a Garmin 670 and I want to add an Icon (BMP)and a sound bite(MP3) to the red light camera file I just downloaded. I have no trouble installing the camera file, works real good, but I want to replace the factory installed ding ding with a voice warning.

Hi All: I ordered the free dvd from Garmin for my c550 and my question is ... Is it better coverage? I live in the hinter lands just south of Redding CA and the maps that came installed on my c550 are not that up to date for the smaller towns. Will the Free Map Update DVD help this problem ?
