No more red "new" post markers? How can we get those back?

Yesterday, two months after receiving my new 680, while approaching a red light camera, the audio alert stopped half way through the warning. I can't even play any pm3 music...I have completely lost audio. Anyone ever have this happen or have any suggestions? Maybe there is a firmware update that can be loaded.

While shopping at Best Buy today, making my final decision on what GPS unit to go with, I saw an aisle of accessory items. I found a custom bracket for my Ford F150 made by Bracketron. The brackets were being discontinued and were marked for $6.00!

Has anyone tried this?

Is there any way of adding missing roads and streets to my 650? I have the 2008 map update and these new streets are still missing ... any help is most appreciated.

So if you have not purchased one yet, and plan to, I'd suggest getting the Micro format with an adapter. Sometime in February the GPS units will change over from the standard SD card to Micro SD cards. Im not sure if this will include the 700 series produced after late January or if it will include only the next generation of GPS's.

Oh Nuts!! On the Nuvi 350 while driving there was a "north" compass indicator off to the side..just noticed on my new 750 it is not present..anyway to get that on the 750 or is it just common to the 350 series?

Downloaded the red light camera poi. On installing it with the poi loader, do i need to unzip it first or leave it as it is in my folder?.

This has sorta been covered in other threads, but not by itself. I was talking to my coworker's bf and he gave her his c330 because he got a new car with a built in GPSr. I asked him which one he liked, and as I thought, he perferred his portable one. His main reason was because if he is moving, he can't do anything.

So for those that have/had built in and portable, which do you perfer?

Turned on the Nuvi 350 as usual the other day and a subscreen popped up saying "Do you really want to delete all user data?" I hit "no" and it worked normally. Did I do something wrong or hold the "on" button too long or just a glitch?..

I just wanted to check in with everyone and let you guys know that we had an unexpected holiday visitor this last week and I was not able to get some of your BMP Icons published like I had promised some of you.

My garmin 260 i use poi loader and it seems to work succesfully when i got into gps i see the poi items in the extras menu.
However it appears that the loader loads it as a single file in my poi folder i think i am correct in saying this?

I just got my first GPS that will let me load custom POIs and I will be creating some sound files and icons that aren't on the site now. So to save me some trial and error experimenting, can someone tell me what the maximum pixel size is that I can make a bmp file. I have made a couple already, but am wondering if I could go larger to make them more readable.
