Adding POIs

Helpful site. But I guess that they never heard about us, at the POI Factory. They mention two other sites to find POIs but not us. I thought everybody has heard of Miss POI and all their hard work on POI files.

Topo Maps

I haven't tried it yet but in the past I looked for topo maps for Colorado for hiking and couldn't find any so I'll give this site a try.

It's indirectly listed twice. Go to the 'POI Resource Page' link under 7. Look under 'forums' and 'online sources of POIs'. I checked this before I posted it.

I went in and looked at some of the Interstate Rest Areas locations - the coordinates are identical to the revised coordinates (entrance ramps) in the POI Factory Rest Areas Combined locations and even have the exact Names and Facilities structure !
Well, at least they know where the best is !

I have researched this and have taken steps to get that removed.

this is, in by far the best POI website available on the net. I looked at those on the aforementioned site, and immediately came back to this one, they are very, very small, compared to "POIfactory" and it should have been mentioned!

Yes it does on the first almanac load, then when ever you see your GPSr is locking slowly. With a slow satellite lock you have to reload the data from minimum of three satellite. with your GPSr looking at an open spot (no trees or obstuctions)for 20 minutes sitting motionless. You can also tell that you need to do this while driving and the roads are not quit synced.
