Continuing Exercises: Backup Using ISO File

A week or so ago, s4v8 posted that he was in the middle of doing a backup using ImgBurn. see http://www.poi-factory.com/node/36307.

That got me to thinking about the several backups I have that are taking up space. Did I really need that many on my PC or would only the latest one do? But, what if I wanted to check out something like the various sizes of JCV files.

Power Adapters

I am wondering if anybody here is using any sort of power adapters with their GPS and other electronic devices? I have a Uniden Home Patrol HP-1 scanner or order. I only have one 12 volt 10 amp power outlet up front. I am considering one of the following devices:

-XTG Technology 5-in-1 Auto Charger. 4-Port USB Car Charger and 1 12V DC Cigarette Socket Model Number: XTG-4USB12V

Digital Camera Sales Up!

Digital Camera Sales Up!

Of course, it's the "Higher End" cameras, not the "Point and Click" cameras (those sales are down). Seems that most folks want a higher resolution camera with real "Optical Zoom" and more control for those "Important" family photos.

So, the Camera Phone has not brought about the end of the Digital Camera.

Mounts

I just purchased and Installed a Proclip mount for my GPS in a new car. Being the thrity (CHEAP) guy that I am I explored all the possibilies before electing to go for the EXPENSIVE Proclip mount.

I have to say. PROCILP FITS THE CAR PEFECT and is worth the money. Less than 1 minute installtion. Solid mount.

Converting GPX to CVS

Ok, I GIVE UP.
Downloaded program to convert files, wouldn't open,
kept getting dinks and error message.
I'm too old and set in my ways to keep getting frustrated at this stage of life.
If anyone converts Flying J/Pilot and Church's Chicken to
CVS format for download to RM7710, please let me know.

Just wanted to say hello

I just got my new Nuvi today, and was loading some custom POI and came across this site.
