roadfood.com on here?

Has anyone thought of loading roadfood.com restaurants onto this site? It is similar to diners, drive ins and dives which is popular on this site.

Sad,

red light camera updates

I have noticed several locations in my area where the red light cameras have been removed and new locations that are not in my version of the poi
How can I send the info of the unlisted locations?

I have joined the ranks..

Last week, I joined the ranks of millions who are unemployed. sad The company I worked for was gracious in providing a "transitional coach". He had mentioned that and I have found out through my experiences that networking with people works!

GPX

I very recently purchased a Garmin 765T. I love it so far. I noticed on this site the Extra POI editor. I downloaded it.
I added POI's from this site. But only the name of the place shows on my GPS. I noticed that I can display Name and description in the Edit window of the Extra POI Editor. But is this has to be done with each entry. Any way to make this happen for ALL?

Need GPS With Lat - Long Input

I need a GPS that will allow me to input LAT - LONG

I do allot of genealogy research and need to be able to input the latitude and longitude into a GPS. It seems that most cemeteries are listed in the lat - long format, and are very hard to locate on conventional maps.

new Discovery Show "Pitchmen" premier tonight. Try to sell GPS Pal

Any one catch the Discovery show "Pitchmen" with Billy Mays and Anthony Sullivan tonight?

It's a reality show about selling stuff on TV. Talk about advertising masqurading as entertainment!

One of the products is a GPS Pal, which is a cupholder thing that holds a GPS device.

Very interesting...

State Laws For GPS Windshield Mounts

Thought I would start a thread where people could post the State Law on where a GPSr can be placed in the vehicle. I used the following site to start:
http://public.findlaw.com/traffic-ticket-violation-law/state...

I clicked on my state and then Unlawful Vehicle Modifications. I then entered the traffic code into my browser and found the section on windshield obstructions...

Even better than red light cameras

This is new idea from Britain. Of course all of it for "citizen safety".

Gps Saves more Fuel than Hybrids??

I have a theory, unproven but I think it is true. I know how many times I have driven out of the way a bit to find someplace...and I know there are way more GPS units being sold that hybrids....so I am saying I think GPS saves more fuel in the Big picture than the Hybrids.

Sony Announces New HD Camcorder With GPS

Sony on Thursday announced the HDR-TG5V, a high-definition (HD) camcorder that is equipped with a GPS receiver and can geotag recorded videos and still photos.
