Feature request: How many members have my POI file as a "Favorite File"?

A nice little perk for maintainers would be to display the number of members who have selected a POI file as one of their "Favorite Files". If it was publicly viewable then it would have the added bonus of being like the "n users 'Like/+1' this" on other sites.

uhm

You already get a count of the number of times it has been downloaded.

Yes, but that's not quite the same thing. Keeping something as a "Favorite" indicates affinity, while the aggregate number of downloads includes "drive-by" downloads. Also, the download count is not public information (although it could be...).

This is how I look at the

This is how I look at the whole situation.

It doesn't matter to me how many people download my file or use it. The only thing that matters is that it fits my needs. Sharing with the rest of the world is simply my way of saying "thanks" for everything I learned.

That said, obviously people do use my files or I wouldn't see the counts increase whenever a new version is released.

I wasn't referring specifically to my own files, I was talking about a feature that would be available on the POI pages for all files.

And if you were referring to *my* POI files in particular as being "all in Canada" I guess you missed:

WiFi "Lite", US & Canada
Starbucks, US & Canada
Pizza Joints
Bob Evans Restaurants
Pita Pit - Canada and USA (CSV & TomTom OV2)
Pita Pit - Canada and USA (Garmin GPX)
Mimi's Cafe
Quiznos - USA (CSV & TomTom OV2)
Quiznos - USA (Garmin GPX)
Red Lobster - USA (CSV & TomTom OV2)
Red Lobster - USA (Garmin GPX)

Missed those, but I don't go to them anyways.

As to a "feature", we do get a download count.
