Looking for a multi-point routing GPS or App
I've been out of the GPS scene for a year or two, due to the type of work I was doing.
Now have a new job which involves a LOT of driving. I'm a field service tech for restaurant equipment.
So when I get called I'd like to be able to input the next location into the unit/app and it figure out where to go to next. There are sometimes 4 or 5 places in the queue.

Trapster vs. Waze, or Both?
I've been wondering what peoples' experiences have been with Trapster and/or Waze, and the pros/cons of one compared to the other. In my non-scientific "tests", I have found them both to be useful sometimes, and both to be useless sometimes.

Induction
I'm thinking of buying a free standing induction range.
3 times we have left the burner on on our stove. Luckily nothing was on top. The only range i know that turns off by itself is a induction range. Problem is these things are expensive and not a lot of ratings out there, not that many to choose from either. Any one have such an animal?

In-Car Nav System report
Seems that less owners are satisfied with their In-car Nav Systems than before, according to J. D. Powers.
See:

I'll stick with my stand-alone 660, for now.

I need help with Excel, again
I split the Wal-Mart file into Sam's and Walmart. Is there a clever way of selecting and then deleting all the Sam's entries?

Contributors of the Week 2013-1-14
This week we are recognizing spokybob for his post in the organizing folders thread.
We are a diverse group of users and it was great to see all the members who stuck with the OP in working through the issue.
Spokybob’s gentle reminder to be polite was appropriate and well timed.
Thanks for the excellent example, spokybob!

Copyright Infingement?
Frequently a forum topic will include copy from a news article and / or a link to the article. I'm wondering if doing this is a violation of copyright law.
I don't mean this to be a criticism and I'm certainly not an attorney. I raise the issue only in the hope that we are not jeopardizing POI Factory.

Scenic Byways and Land Slides in last few days
Last week heavy rains (up to 9 inches) caused many land slides in the Smoky Mountain Region. 30 plus slides in Swain and Graham county alone. The good news, the roads are still intact with most of them. However, there are couple major slides and closures.

What is old is new again
It was just a short time ago these systems were decommissioned because the were "old technology" and redundant in the light of GPS navigation.
