Fed driver distraction guidelines make navigation unusable
for those of you interested, I've been using one for a few days now. The graphics (pictures/videos) are spectacular; far better than any previous version and far better than my Toshiba Satellite laptop or Acer Netbook. The processor speed is better, though truthfully, it only really matters so far in picture editing and watching videos, neither of which I do much of on an iPad.
Las Vegas Review-Journal reports: "The Metropolitan Police Department has agreed to pay $100,000 to a Las Vegas man who said he was beaten by an officer as he shot video from his driveway. ... As Colling was driving away, he stopped his car, got out and approached Crooks. ... He ordered Crooks to stop filming, and when Crooks refused, Colling beat him, according to the lawsuit."
Looking for US and State Hwy information or warnings before I get to that big hill up or down.

This week we are recognizing mahoney.
He's been watching the "what poi's would you like to see" topic and adding new files. Last week, he added three new POI files in addition to updating another 8 he was already maintaining.
New files last week were Tuesday Morning, Port of Subs, and Golden Spoon.
Thank you for continuting to do a great job with POI files.

This isn't about traffic cameras, but it does point out that there are towns that do rely on traffic tickets as a way to fund the local government. One town in the article was cleaning up.

Toothpick Model of San Francisco
You've probably made model houses out of popsicle sticks with your children. This man made a model of the entire city of San Francisco . And he decided to use toothpicks. He used more than 100,000 toothpicks, and it took 35 years to build. Not only is it huge, you can take tours using little plastic balls. Prepare to be amazed. Click below:
A neighbor sent me the link to this video of a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport traveling 431kph (267mph). I cannot imagine traveling at that speed on the ground. The fastest ground speed I have attained in a car is 114mph and that was in a former colleagues Z28 back in the late 1980's.
Can anyone from the area tell me if they're still using the mobile camera on I95 in Ridgeland ?
This week we are recognizing D-Moo70 and bear007.
We are recognising D-Moo70 for his continued work maintaining the files for the Royal Canadian Legion Branches, all of which have been updated in the last month! He also recently took over the Winners-Canada files.
By popular request we are also recognising Bear007 for going above and beyond to help another user resolve an issue.
Not sure where/how to address this - just downloaded TD Green Machines in Ontario - all it is is TD Green Machines in Toronto,Ontario rather than the whole province.
