Ajasaro has been one of our most reliable and dedicated file maintainers for over 9 years!

I recently tried to update my Steetpilot c530 to the latest Garmin maps but was unable to. I contacted Garmin on the matter and they told me that my unit is not compatible with the new map updates. They told me that Garmin was offering a free update program for older units with had lifetime maps installed. All I had to do was send them my old unit.

This is the place to talk about things that are not GPS related.

I just noticed that the user numbers are no longer displayed at the bottom of the screen. This has probably been gone for awhile, but I just noticed it is gone. I'm probably dense and after I hear from a few of the members here at the factory, I know I'm going to feel like a dummy but the questions needs to be asked; where did they go?

i notice sometimes my garmin will beep 3 times when approaching a red lite camera, other times it will beep 2, and even 1. is there a reason for the different number of beeps, or is it my garmin?

New member here. I've had an old Garmin eTrex Legend for *ever* (not really for auto use), but I just recently got a Garmin nuvi 57LM on clearance at Wal*Mart for like $75. I bought it on a whim (while on a trip) and have been playing with it along the way back home. Then I starting googling about a few (geeky) aspects of using it, and several of the links led me to this website.

Since the beginning of the digital TV I have tried and tried to get good pictures without digital artifacts or signal loss.

It's pretty interesting, I saw a package go from the airport, to my house.

It may not be that useful in a personal/residential situation, but in a business critical one it could be.

Someone probably knows how it works, but it has to be able to use the GPS of the vehicle, and link it to all the packages it's carrying, then show the truck on a map....
