In danger of losing your windmill?
Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).
Anything to keep your windmill alive.
This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.
Happy October everyone - Fall seems to have arrived in North Texas. Got several rides planned before the snow flies. Tour of Honor has just 30 more days before it closes for this year.
I love my windmill .. my recent trip to San Diego was flawless thanks to my Garmin nuvi
Golf trip, east end of Long island.
and updating the POIs. We're headed to the 2016 ABQ Balloon Fiesta!
Scarecrow and craft show in Meaford,
Got some great flights in with my planes. Almost perfect weather, mid 70's, no wind and scattered clouds.
But I'll be heading to Minneapolis on Wednesday. See my daughter for a few days and then head back home. Just a little 1800 mile round trip.
The zumo 665 always does fantastic. I like watching the XM Weather to know when I'm gonna hit rain.
Speaking on behalf of my wife, she used GPS heavily this weekend travelling around northern Virginia for work.
out in western Illinois. Nothing like warm cider on a cool evening. What a great time of the year and change of season.
Went and picked up my wife's new vehicle. Nice drive and I have really yet to drive the thing unless you count 10 ft from the driveway into the garage.
Have a great week!
Baltimore,MD to Pittsburgh, PA. A rather boring ride.
Chicago, for my twin grandsons' birthday.
To babysit two grandchildren for a week. Hope I survive! My wife and I will have to run multiple carpools, to multiple activities throughout the day and into the night.
Happy Monday everyone. Lots of little trips around Wisconsin all week.
Once again, got stung by garmin's maps through neighborhoods. Had to detour around a bad accident but the map/routing kept trying to take me through dead end roads. Once upon a time they were through roads. However, since then they have been cut by fences and apartment buildings on top of where they used to be.
for our vacation in Canada. The Garmin got us where we needed to go and the car's system just gave us another view of the streets at a different zoom level. First time using it out of the country.
Going to Harmon's Den this Saturday (NC)
Took the Nuvi 66LM up to North Bay, Ontario this past weekend.
make our way to the Balloon Fiesta. Meteor Crater, Petrified Forest and, of course, we'll be standing on the street corner in Winslow, AZ Little Nuvi doing great.
Coming to an area near me
Getting ready to take a private school field hockey team to play in Concord, NC this afternoon. Then I have a football team tomorrow and Saturday.
Land of almonds and honey
Milwaukee for work.
Spent the week camped in a huge automotive flea market.
Weekend trip to Clevland
Checking out the fall colours.
Driving around Northern California.
Used Nuvi 66LM taking son back to Waterloo U in southern Ontario after our Thanksgiving weekend here.
... to upstate NY and return
Baltimore, MD to Dover, DE
Found a place in Taylor MI last week.
We got back from our Vegas trip October 6. Three weeks of sleeping in, sitting by the pool and seeing a few shows. And the day after we get back, it SNOWS
The only bad thing about our Fall trip is that, when we get back, I know winter is coming...
Warmer than expected for this time of year.
Drove to CO from AZ
at Long Beach
Didn't have to drive anywhere this weekend really. Had Thanksgiving at our house - did up two turkeys (one in oven, then one in smoker).
Good day had by all as we also saw the Jays Sweep the Rangers.
On to the ALCS.
Went shopping Sunday. We have builtin navigation in the car but took Jill to make sure she was ok after map updates.
Will be using Jill later this month as a back up for our first trip since we got our Accord with Navigation.
I installed the POIs we need to do our trip in the Accord and will set the route up the day before we leave (as I haven't found a way to save the route in the Accord).
Getting used to the Navigation in the Car. It is so much more convenient. With the cell phone and the Navigation for the Accord I never use Jill anymore for local areas.
Never thought I would say that.
Still getting the branches and stuff out of the yard from the storm.
My birthday has just passed.
Never thought I would say that.
Instead of saving the route, can you save the end point as a POI or Favorite?
Love the colours but not the cold!
Getting ready to be a actor at our Haunted House in Rye, NY again This year.. Have a great time doing the scare every year.. The place is called Scared by the Sound!
Fun, Fun, Fun..
Just took a look at you contribution to POIs. You sure do have a lot. Lots of work. Thanks.
